There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart

ALAN IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN!

I do realize Sneakernet was added a while back, but I browsed the thread and didn't find anyone with this problem.

I put in the string of code needed to update my avatar and emblem, and I get the message of "We will attempt to render your avatar in the next couple of minutes (5)."

I wait a couple of minutes, and so far I've:

A)Refreshed that page to see if anything new happened

B)Clicked on my Service Record to see if anything updated

and C) Looked at my picture in the top right corner of my profile and so far, none of these have worked.

I've already triple checked the code, and it appears to be right, so I don't know what's up.

Any ideas or solutions would be greatly appreciated.

You sure you haven't confused any letters for numbers? That's a common mistake.

Keep sneakernet discussion to this thread.

Nope, it accepts the code (Doesn't say it's a hex code containing certain characters) but no changes happen.

My Screenshots / My Group / Remember to follow the rules or you will get trapped in a box.

I also have this problem. I just gave up. I have tried it many times. Swapping numbers and letters and it just doesn't work.

You need EVERY SINGLE character to be 100% correct, or else it wont do anything.

Evem if it does accept it, it doesnt mean you wrote it in correct, it will always accept it if you have 64 digits written in.

Nowise is correct: The system only validates that the code is 64 characters long, and that it it only contains valid hex characters (0-9, A-F). If a code is incorrect, you just won't see your render appear. Watch out for some of the tricky characters (B vs. 8 is a big one).

Also, make sure your service tag is set to the one stored on Bungie.net.

I really wish I had the patience to enter that stuff in. Too bad I'm lazy, maybe I should pay someone.

B and 8 are killing me. It's incredibly difficult to decide between one or the other. From a distance it'll appear to be one of the two, but getting closer makes it appear to be something else.

I shall continue to try. Process of elimination should do the trick.

By "That", do you mean the 3d rendering, or where I plug in the code?

The moment I get the code straightened, I'll let you know.

Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

Hey I have a question. I have double checked and it says I only have 63 characters. also do the letters have to be capitalized?
