Anyone know this?

Bungie.net will always be here.

Yeah, it is kinda sad.

Not even like halo is related to bungie anymore (lol ... they even include the cry-moar "bungie is no longer managing halo" banner in these posts).

And their latest effort, aerospace, has been abandoned at the grand cost of $300.
But, what else is there ... guess activision is hopeful?

What does the site cost to run ... guess the toy fair business is looking up?

But guess this was part of their long term plan ...
"We're literally looking at making a grunt plushie this year, and not because -- well it'll probably sell a lot and make a lot of money -- but because it's the single most-demanded item that we haven't fulfilled in the franchise history"
(from 5th paragraph)

The "single most-demanded item that we haven't fulfilled" .... mmmm, yeah - lol, and the OP is worried about this site? Microsoft must be laughing.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Bungie will always be here.
Now this forum, I don't know.

@spawn031

"So much of what we do is ephemeral and quickly forgotten, even by ourselves, so it's gratifying to have something you have done linger in people's memories." John Williams

At least the next 10 years. It's bungie.net not halo.net. The new version of bungie.net is codenamed bungie.next and will transition us into their new game for the next decade.

As for the Halo forums, they are ALL going to be combined into a single forum with the transition.

Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

For a while. Bungie is still going to make games. They do have that contract with Activision.

Bungie never dies, she just goes dark from time to time.
