you mad bro?

People who still say this deserved to be kicked in the teeth.

I just finished Glasslands not long ago. Is this book worse? Because if it is I doubt I could stomach it.
I don't make a habit of saying that, but he was clearly raging and I couldn't resist. I like it better than Glasslands, I feel like most of the complaining is just people looking for things to hate due to there disappointment with Glasslands.
and the only reason people are looking for things to complain is because of how Travis destroyed the halo lore in glasslands. You cannot blame people for hating the kilo-five trilogy.

I honestly didn't mind it, the characterizations weren't always great, but I didn't find it to be as bad as many other people did. But yeah, my point still stands that I don't think most of the complaints about thursday war are very valid. again, this is just my opinion.

Easter Egg Hunter. Apprentice Tricker/Glitcher (learning from Grumpy and Sliding Ghost).

Trying to get Waypoint to update Halo 3 stats in detail like here. Now no one can see that my Halo 3 Spartan no longer looks like my Reach Spartan.

Really want to be a Heroic member or have a title. :/

I don't know why Hood would take Margaret's side. Personally, I almost hate Parangosky. As for how good the book is, I haven't read it fully yet. The main reason i got it was to find out what happened to the Arbiter after Halo 3. I do plan on actually reading it though.

-Spoiler Alert-

I don't think the kilo-five trilogy makes any sense at all. at the end of Ghost of Onyx, Blue team welcomes in the Spartan III's yet in Glasslands they don't work as a team at all. Halsey says that she wants to help the 3's but in Glasslands she just underminds them and says how they arn't as good as her II's. in Thursday War, Parengosky basically imprisons Halsey yet she new what she was doing with the Spartan Program since it was ONI who asked her to join! but the most irritating part of these books from Travis is the amount of profanity used, i think in one page of hers has more profanity in it then the original 6 Halo novels. over 800 pages between the books and all you really need to know is Jul creates the storm faction and is heading to Reqruim to awake the Didact/Ur-Didact.(not sure which yet).

"An Ancient Evil Awakens"

That doesn't bother anyone here? Halo was about Humanity being a ragtag group of survivors fighting a losing war and found some mythical ancient ring and race of god like beings. And this stuff with Geas the Halo lore has already gone to -blam!- a long time ago.

that's the old halo. In 343i new halo we are the single most powerful thing in the universe. Well struggle for habit then come out the victor with barely a scatch .

I'm only bothered if 343i decides to make the Forerunners the villains the Didact the Ancient Evil...which is what it feels an awful lot like they're doing >_> which doesn't make any kind of sense at all :/

So far the new stuff about the Forerunners has changed absolutely nothing. Halo was never about any one thing, that's the beauty of the series, it has so much depth and little side-paths and plots everywhere. The only point of Halo is telling a compelling story and nothing else.

All books have there own problems, but too many people have been overreacting to the Kilo-Five trilogy. I'm still trying to figure out just why it's near universally hated, and so many people will default to saying Halo canon is ruined forever that you'd think I've gotten an indisputable explanation by now. But I haven't.

^^The extended lore has made it pretty clear that the overarchng villain is the Precursors, making Didact only a temporary villain for Halo 4.
