It just hit me, High Charity, which is infested with Flood right now, is appearntly a floating piece of junk in space right now because the Forerunner ship disconnected from it.

So, in all aspects, High Charity should be useless. But, this is what gets me. Cortana said she could activate In Amber Clad's fusion reactors, just like she did the Autumns. How? Would she not have to be able to connect to the ship somehow phyically?

In which case, would High Charity not have the power of In Amber Clads fusion reactors available to it. Enough power to jump once.

A jump to earth?

It would explain how the flood would get to earth.

Or flood take some of the 100000000000000 covenant ship on it,and fly to earth.,

But still good thinking.

Gravemind seems to be able to teleport within some foreunnrer technology...
and what is the arc?
Also perhaps they repair somegiant cruiser.
or mmommy gravemind shows up with a big airship.

How would it be useless? It's a ship dock, it flies itself and holds millions of other ships, Phatoms, Flagships, Destroyers, it's fine it's just there's a war going on inside of it.

If 343 guilty Spark could teleport MC in Halo 1, I'm sure Penitant Tangent can, and last time I remember he was with Gravemind.

"You ever wonder what's up there"
"Like what"
"Maybe someone up there was wondering what it's like here"
"I guess, do you think will ever meet them"
"I hope so, don't you...?"

- The proof there's intelligent life in the universe is the fact that they haven't visited Earth.

Join the Sangheili Empire, the last of the surviving Sangheili...

First of all at least 99% (if not all) of the Covenant ships are out of their docking bays because the Sangheili and the Brutes are using them to fight against each other. The Prophet of truth is also taking a very large fleet back to earth. Cortana could connect with the Amber clan by either tranfering her-self via radio signals or traveling over High Charity's network (which probably still has a backup generator.)

personally i dont think ALL the ships are being used.....its high charity there has to be a few cruisers lyin around......second the flood were able to jack in amber clad......taking over a covenant vessel wouldnt be too difficult, and cortana is in GM's clutches...he knows what she's plannin on doing and i doubt he'll let her do it

good thoughts btw

In my opinion, I would think the Covenant would be smart enough to remove all of thier ships from High Charity durring a Flood invasion. The Covenant know how dangerous the Flood are, that's exacly why they sent a strike team to drive the flood from Truth and Reconcilliation in Halo: CE.
