Questions lead to learning, learning leads to kowledge, knowledge leads to understanding, understanding leads to peace.

"I would kill to get a killionaire... 10 times... digitally."

Look around you. To your left and your right. Now slap yourself because I'm talking digitally. But in all seriousness, look at the people posting in the threads around you. Realize something. Your one of a group of people who is here, in the Darkness, waiting for your Destiny. You may complain about things, or fight with each other, but your HERE. Enjoy it while it lasts. Once the new Universe is released people will Flood in here. It will be Blue Flames all over again. Once again, look at your fellow Community members. You guys are here because of you. Not because of some game. Wether you are a Mythic or a lowly Member, you are part of "The Core" of this Community. Never forget that. Take pride in that. This peace that has allowed us to grow as a Community will not last forever.

So this has some discussion value, share some of your favorite moments as a member of this community. Let us reflect on why we are here and what it means to us.

Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

Yeah, but we're the core nerds.

I'm a stubborn guy. I love to argue my opinion, but unlike others, I'll try to see your side of the problem. I'm a triathlete, with a very heavy empephis on the swimming bit. Also, don't hate on the ~Quinton~ at the end of my posts. Why are you still reading this? #creeper #hashtagcashmoney for hashtaging on Bungie.net

I'm going to feel really old when all the new members join.

The object of at least one mission in almost every modern game involves destroying some sort of core.

ooga booga boooh

It's true in a sense. I get this may not be the most exciting community, but it is our choice to come here and engage it daily. So why complain when you can make it better by partaking in it?

I'm here for awesome people and good times.

We produce the magnetic field that protects Bungie.net from harmful solar radiation? Cool.

If we do the right things with this next game, and Bungie.net gets invaded en masse again, I'll remember who kept us company during my first year.
You better DeeJ, you better.

and it feels good.

My best memories come from this time period of the community. I feel like I'm more connected than when things were buzzing.

I venture to say that we've shaken off the half-hearted. The people you see on these forums- these people are the heart and soul of the Seventh Column. Bungie's "underground army", as it has been called- we are those at the heart of it. Our passion and diligence is commendable, and I am honored to be among such great fans.

My future is certain, I will one day fly away. All because I am saved from the penalty of sin. I know he lives.

I'm hanging in here like everyone else, however, instead of feeling like a brother, I feel more like a distant cousin. Because I read the forums left and right, but only post in community. I'm a little involved, but nothing like most on here.

Hopefuly if something good (great) is passed on to thoes that endured the darkness as a community, you guys/gals will let me tag along just the same.

And sharktooth, I agree with you about being connected now more, but it seems like there is only a few thousand that visit here daily, so being connect now is probably easiest it is going to get. The Ninja's will [b]soon(TM)[b/] have their hands full.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC
