Wrong on so many points. This thread was meaningless from the start.

I understand nothing because my life is a conspiracy.

They lost an entire decade's worth of work to Microsoft...They wanted to stop making Halo anyways. Now they can be fans of the franchise.

A lot of the Original Team left to work for 343i...If by a lot you mean 4-5 . . .

They teamed up with Activision (???)And Blizzard. It will open up more opportunities for them, like cross-platform play. Also, they are not in Infinity Ward's situation; They actually have rights. Better them than EA.

Their last game (Reach) was butchered by negative responses...It was received well in general. THe community bashes every current Halo game, just look at what it was like when 3 first came out. Anyways, they make games they want to play, so I'm sure they're proud of it.

And that's like your opinion, man.

Something about Paul McCartney.Ah, yes! He is working with Marty on the next game's OST.

And yeah... what do you think Bungie is doing nowadays? I hope they are okay.I think they are working on their next game and keeping the community entertained during the darkness.

Overall, their morale is as high as they can climb on their own rock wall.

False. They gave it up to work on other stuff.

A lot of the Original Team left to work for 343i...Not even close to true; read up on facts next time.

They teamed up with Activision (???)So?

Their last game (Reach) was butchered by negative responses...nope.avi

Something about Paul McCartney.I can now tell that your post has no point and that you don't know what the word morale means.

And yeah... what do you think Bungie is doing nowadays? I hope they are okay...Destiny.

He's right on top of us! I wonder if he is using the same wind we are using...

Ockeghem
Missa Prolationum

Responding directly to the title, I imagine it is a heavy combination of intensity and excitement.

I don't recall hearing that; I thought they were just pissed at Microsoft rushing them to push games out before they were ready.

Eh, either way I'm confident Bungie will be just fine without Halo. Their morale is pretty high right now because they're taking the time to make Destiny an epic experience and they know they have a dedicated fanbase eagerly awaiting the reveal; they can only go up from here.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

Probably not. I'm sure Bungie managed to get a percentage of the profit from the succeeding Halo games made by 343. That or they were payed royalties.

A lot of the Original Team left to work for 343i...Achronos (I believe) posted some time ago that this accusation is actually false.

They teamed up with Activision (???)For contractual reasons; Activision is giving them what they want: 1) money; 2) world-wide access to publish their game where ever, regardless of medium of entertainment.

Their last game (Reach) was butchered by negative responses...I'm sure consistent +9/10s are considered bad scores.

Something about Paul McCartney. This is a bad thing?

And yeah... what do you think Bungie is doing nowadays? I hope they are okay...Working. Hard.

I think they're fine; I even bet they're better than ever. I'm not quite sure yet, but they're definitely excited for the future. We'll just have to wait and see.

Are we talking before, or after the Cheeze Whiz and Red Bull binges?

It's important to clarify what stage we're at...

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

And, like most people,I bet if they did take that mentality, they're vengeful as -blam!- and can't wait to release a game that will sell millions more copies than H4.

I bet at work, their morale is intense. They may be dark to us, but behind those curtains and men with hammers, there are men and women working diligently towards a new game, spawning new ideas and grinding away.

This.
Maybe they'll make an entirely new GENRE of video games that everyone can love.

Ahh the ageless OP. The way I look at it, is at e3 Halo 4 did very well, but there was a poll on facebook right before the release of Borderlands 2, asking what release people were looking foward to most. Here from xbox official page I think the results speak for itself.

With that in mind I think Bungie's next game needs to aim way far above Halo, the horse has been ridden.
