Phase 1 highly favored the spartans with high grounds, DMRs.
Elites were stuck on the low ground with carabines, that's assuming they are able to keep control of them.
That's not without mentioning the open area spawn points.
Phase 2 would pretty much favor whoever controls wraith/plasma launcher, otherwise, somewhat balanced phase.
Phase 3 is once again in favor of spartans with their bunker, even more so when they decide to use AL/shotty.
Sure elites have the banshee, but the spartans have so much anti-banshee crap that unless you're fighting retards, that thing won't stay up long.
Letting the spartans grab it kills any chance the elites have, unless they manage to grab the power weapons the spartans use.
All in all, outside of breakpoint, invasion was unbalanced as hell.
And it also used lolVanilla settings.
The Spawn points were Invasions biggest Fail.
If you had more than the 3 Spawn points at the start, like 5 or 6.
And could choose any of them, it be hard to spawn trap a team, even if players quit.
But with Invasion current setup, you can't change inital spawn, and you can get spawn trapped very easily.
This = Fail.
Invasion was a great addition to REACH, but needs some tweaking, and can be a great play list, that should rival BTB, and is why I think Invasion should be a part of BTB.
But it also lacked maps which was also a fail.
