One does not choose a destiny, his destiny is bestowed, shaped and formed, from the soul.

Let's be honest here, Urk was something this community could never forget and we all truly miss him. I hope he has a huge role in Destiny. But until he makes his return, if he returns, we have DeeJ.

Now I like DeeJ quite a bit. And to be honest he's trying pretty hard to fill the humongous shoes Urk left, which is a feat no regular man can do. So let's all be honest, do you think DeeJ has what it takes to become on par with urk?

In time, I can see it happening, but he's got a long way to go. I like DeeJ and urk in their own way. I'll remember DeeJ for the mailsacks and the darkness. I remember urk for being urk and all he did.

To clear it up, I know they will be special in their own way, and I like DeeJ a lot like I said before. But I feel Urk has a longer impression on the community (obviously because he was with us longer) but do you see DeeJ being that awesome and such a good community leader that he remains with us forever. I do but it will take a while. Even past the darkness

Indeed I do. DeeJ is doing a great job. Just look at how he's got the forums all riled up right now. Priceless.

Those of us old enough to remember sketch would say otherwise....

No, he won't. And he shouldn't try to. DeeJ is DeeJ, and Urk is Urk. I want them to both be great, yet different and unique.

This. DeeJ doesn't have to fill anyone's shoes, he's his own man. Urk and DeeJ are both great community managers in their own right.

DeeJ is Shoto to Urk's Daito. Clearly you have no idea what you're talking about.

DeeJ is staying with us through the darkness, so I like him more.

I didnt mean in style, I mean of involvement and a long lasting impression. I'll remember him for being with us in the dark, but I remember urk for....alot of things lol.

They will both be special in their own ways. I'm just saying do you think they will make the same kind of mark on the community as the other.

SPOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOON!

Urk was never really an Assistant Community Manager. As such, this is comparing apples to oranges.

I'd say DeeJ is doing a fine job. He really doesn't have anything to work with, due to the nature of darkness, but he is trying and usually succeeding to keep us interested.

I think he should get into fights with various employees and community members, and post videos online.

Yes, of course. Every Community Manager has. Whether it was Franki, Sketch, Urk or DeeJ, they all have given to this community and left a mark.

I do admire his effort and his ability to rally the community in the middle of the darkest darkness this community has ever seen. It's kinda crazy if you think about it. I'm sure he's working his ass off

This is the most interactive an employee has ever been with the community. I personally think DeeJ is doing an awesome job, he's making things fun again.

I think DeeJ's feet are too big to do that.

DeeJ's doing a pretty good job of connecting to the community. Imagine where we'd be if DeeJ wasn't forum posting and having interviews.
