Subject: What would you do if the military offered to make you a Spartan

Survive until the red dawn rises, when we have spilled the blood of our enemies.

What would you do if the military offered to make you a Spartan (assuming that there is ONI and there are such things as Spartans) What would you do, and if you said yes. What kind of Spartan would you be?

Depends on what spartan, if 1 no...if 2 defenetly yes.

Nope. Lifelong abstinence isn't a price I'd pay, even to be a virtual superhero.

Depends. Who are the humans fighting?

If good looks could kill, I'd be a weapon of mass destruction.

Q: Hey, what did Hitler say to the black jew?
A: Get to the back of the oven.

I'd ask to negotiate a contract and term for my service and if we could find a mutual agreement then I would gladly accept.

ooga booga boooh

Depends on the terms. I don't want to make a necessarily life long commitment to any one organization or institution. It would also depend on what Spartan type I became.

I'll have to think about it more.

My honor student can beat up your honor student.

Once we get Mark V armor, yes. Until then, no.

First off you know not what you speak. Second i would accept given that I have not already. Third i would ask to be augmented as a Spartan II of course.

I'd turn it down. I like the mediocre quiet life (excluding video games. I like playing good quality games).

  • 10.04.2012 12:22 PM PDT

I am a monument to all your sins

if its a Spartan III (no deaths during augmentation) and I can uninlist like a normal soldier, I'd totally do it.

  • 10.04.2012 6:30 PM PDT

For ANYONE to become a Spartan they would become Spartan IVs. Spartan IIs were chosen. Spartan IIIs were kids seeking revenge so when asked it was a guaranteed "yes".

Spartan IVs are the only Spartans that got a choice and were able to think it over because they were adults.

So in theory, you could only really be offered to be a Spartan IV. We're too old to become Spartan IIIs and the Spartan IIs don't get offered the chance, they are taken.

A little bit of sausage, a little bit of hot sauce, a whole lot of awesome. Have a question? Ask me!
Chapter

I'd say yes but only on one condition: my codename woild have to be, "Fort Greyskull". No questions asked. I think I'd be the Caboose of all the spartans..

I'm Gourlay, I'm only here because I didn't know we had the option to leave.

I'd tell them to juice me up with some more roids, nothing like a little pick me up to kill some of your enemys

I'm a stubborn guy. I love to argue my opinion, but unlike others, I'll try to see your side of the problem. I'm a triathlete, with a very heavy empephis on the swimming bit. Also, don't hate on the ~Quinton~ at the end of my posts. Why are you still reading this? #creeper #hashtagcashmoney for hashtaging on Bungie.net

I don't know... the augmentations sound painful.

Hey, uh, if you like vs threads, then check out this little group right here, if you have the time. It's pretty fun, just hop right in.

Hell no. Being a Spartan would suck.

  • 10.06.2012 8:20 PM PDT

If I have worthy opponents to fight.........in simulations of course. Though I'm a Spartan, I'd rather guard a McDonald's and look awesome than die.

I just hope that if they did make you a spartan IV, they would take away the augmentation which basically made you go feral if you were under too much pressure. Basically, I hope they dont give you animal instincts like they did with the Spartan III's, cause apparently, there are a ton of risks involved with getting that Augmentation.
