Because it takes time and effort to remove it again, I almost never do.
How inspiring and far-sighted! We should definitely go out of our way (as both a community and individuals) to encourage and promote this attitude.

Sorry for wanting a more efficient method...

You probably shouldn't have that many pages anyways.
Why?

Posted by: LordOfBlah51
Saved threads is for threads you want to remember; it defeats the purpose if you save everything.
Presumably Goat is saving the threads he wants to remember, so...

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

I've been campaigning for this feature for ages! It's a pain to have to go to the list of saved threads in order to remove them.

Still better than you.

.....most of you, at least.

I agree with OP. Everyone else just doesn't like change.

Just delete the threads out of the Saved Threads tab in your profile.

For people like me with over 70 pages of saved threads, this isn't exactly the ideal solution.
You have to go through it regardless to find threads you are no longer bothered about.

Really? People are arguing because some members save too many threads? It's not like your ever going to see them and they are not doing you any harn so chill guys. As my .gif showed on the first page it is really is not thst hard to unsave a thread.

1 click vs. 4+ clicks over multiple page loads.

Why save it in the first place then. How often do people actually remove saved threads, not very I bet. Why add another button to unsave it when you would probably have to go to your saved threads to view it anyway!

Simple solution: Only save threads you will never want to un-save.

It's a hell of a lot better than a button in each thread. You can delete them en masse from your profile.

Yeah, that actually sounds like the most ideal option for you, Goat.

Not if he wants to keep most of them.

If I'm already viewing a thread I've saved, why should I have to go through the saved threads page to find the topic and delete it when it would be more intuitive to have the "Save Thread" button act in a togglable way - a topic can either be saved or unsaved.

I don't understand why you would want it to continue to be as cumbersome as it is.

Again supporting daz. The current thread saving system makes no sense. Also, the search function should be expanded, but thats for another topic.

I lol'd at the absurd miscommunication that occurs whenever dibbs post something. Perhaps his brain is so highly evolved that he can no longer clearly communicate with lesser life forms, even among his own species.

Heck I wouldn't care or mind if they added an unsave button, but it is just kind of petty that's all. As I said, how often do people unsave threads? Not very often I bet.

This. You should be thankful you can even save threads in the first place instead of complaining.
Oh wow

I know it's not. But everyone makes a little mistake now and then. Why do you not want the system to be improved?

Bungie.net is perfect in every possible way IMO

Another brother has fallen tonight.

OP, I'm all for adding in a super quick way to unsave threads, but for the time being, it isn't all that bad taking ~5 clicks to rid yourself of a thread.

I agree that it isn't all that bad. But it is a waste of time and it could be improved. If every button on your phone had a 3 second delayed reaction, it wouldn't be terrible, but it would be annoying and you would want it changed. I think the save thread thing is the same kind of thing.
