Man that's the saddest thing i've ever heard! ='(
I hope he gets better but If bungie cares like I do, they would send him a free copy immediatly but scince its not out he would only get to play with the guys at Bungie until November 9th, but its not impossible, for him to have the first copy of halo 2 owned by anyone other then bungie would really releive him of his problems, and when your relaxed you heal better, or so say the "sugar pill" docters, and yes I believe them, When ur woried most of ur cells help your heart to supply more energy to ur heart to pump faster and if it isnt pumping fast then all of the cells can go to the site of the problem and help to cure him, but this is somthing I am not an expert at so I don't know, but I DO know that if you gave him an early copy of halo 2 he would be the happiest person ever, bungie will have to cooperate so for all the people at bungie who are reading this: HELP THIS PERSON GET BETTER
P.S. just hope the shock of getting Halo 2 doesn't kill him.

Its so sad but I'm trying to come up with as many easy ideas I can find...
-Posters
-Downloaded halo 2 demos on DVD (I have a good idea right here): Go down to halo 2 demonstration, I'm sure he'll be happy to see that.
-Somthing really special and close to him, such as: Family item, toy, game etc.
-one million dollars to spend on whatever he wants
- A car
- A cheeseburger
-A "get well soon" card and sign it from everyone at the Bungie site
-A box of tissues
-Somthing he's wanted ALL his life (besides halo 2)
And thats all I can think of.
Once again, GOOD LUCK TO UR FRIEND MAN!

Hey man, how much money are you looking to spend?
You could check out Nightmare Armor. They make lifelike replicas of armor including MJOLNIR armor Master Chief wears. Its in the ballpark of $3500, if thats too much you could start a fund and have people donate money...

**The site is down now, but here is an overview: http://www.gamespot.com/xbox/action/halo2/news_6086541.html

Set up an xbox in his room in the hospital, and have an awesome LAN party in there. He'd love it. Goodluck dude, and always keep fighting. :)

I would get him the RvB DVD if there's a TV in his room and bring a DVD player so he could watch it. I would also consider getting him Halo PC, the books or maybe the action figures. Anyway, good luck.

I was thinking, how about a live flood?
Or a live MC
Or a live mercinary
Or even a live bungie worker!

i don't want to sound rude or mean because i do care for your friend but the reason bungie won't send you a free copy is because some heartless people will make up a story similar to yours just for a free copy of halo 2.

A very sad and remorseful story. I send my condolences. May your friend get better with the help of prayer and modern technology by his side.

I wasn't going to say anything else, but . . . I probably will not pursuing the idea of a fund for armor because of the time this would take - although this is an interesting idea. I'll probably end up buying Jason something after getting some feedback from his mother and friends. Sunday, the report seemed to indicate that the tumor had returned in his foot and that there were live cancer cells in his bone marrow, however, today his mother sent out an email indicating that what they were worried about with Jason's foot is not cancerous and that initial test results from one test did not show active cancer in his bone marrow. There are still results that have not been completed but this is the first positve news they have had in 7 or 8 months. I'm going to keep praying as well as checking for something cool to get him. Thanks again.

If you get help from some of the regulars or moderators on this site you might be able to speak to say, a bungie worker who could help your desperate friend by Sneaking him a copy of Halo 2. But you'd have to do a bunch of crap first. You'd have to get email address's, usernames, and if they would happen to slide H2 you and he would have to sign a confidentiality form. Good Luck To Both you and Your friend.

I really feel sorry for your friend too bad he got diagnosed before a cure. There is probably a lot of free time for him and watching soap opera and dora the explorer 24/7 can drive a man wild the books where great I think that would be a good idea that card thing was a good idea I think after you send them a card they will believe you and sighn it

Remember, trust is calculated daily, and the maximum value possible changes every day too. Since the titles are based on the percentage your trust value is compared to the maximum value, it can easily change if the max value goes up further than you go up in the intervening time, even if you haven't had any negative items against you.

In other words, no the system isn't buggy, stop asking why your title changed, I'm not going to tell you.

Theres a charity that does stuff like this(i think its make a wish) Once somebodys ambition was to visit Bungie and they all took him in for a day around the studio.
