So you think halo's might attack earth?
Then why didn't they do that for 100.000 years ago.

So you think the Ark's SINGLE purpose is the remote activation of the Halos? I would think it would have more capabilities than that.

thats not proof that the Ark is not a safe haven from the Halos All your argument says is that there is no distinct proof that the Ark is a safe haven. That does't mean that it can't be. The idea of a safe haven comes from all the biblical references, and how the "ark" was the only place where people survived "the flood". That is where the idea comes from.

Also, Halo's do not kill life on the actual halo, meaning that the points of activation are safe. So, if being on a halo when you activate it means your safe, then it would make sense that being on the ark when activating it would mean you would be safe.

if things on the halo's aren't destroyed, then there could still be food for the flood, that just doesn't make sense that they wouldn't be killed if they are at an activation point.

though the story kinda makes it clear. why would the forerunners have died if they could've just hid in the ark? right?

I agree with eixen or whatever his name.....THink about this if the halo rings were activated 100,000yrs ago by the forerunners...then all sentient life on earth would have been destroyed. RIGHT? Well it would have take more than 100,000yrs for life on earth to re-evolve into the technologiacal state that were are in today(well in the game). Remember...that life on earth took millions of years to evolve...from the single celled organism to the walking talking mean muther F**king humans that we are today. The only way this could happen if 1. The ark is a safe haven from the rings blast or 2. Some forerunners fled to the rings and survived cuz the flood wuz still contained in the halo rings...or else we wouldnt have encountered them in the first Halo.

u guys may have your theories but from what ive seen, halo DOES take bits of story line from other places(including da bible) so the Ark could keep u safe from the "flood"

God created noahs flood to wipe out the evil in the world, and the ark kept noah safe(sounds familier)

also, gravemind says that he is a "monument of all your sins"

The biblical references in the Halo trilogy and the fact that you can't keep a valid argument makes this a stupid thread. Quit acting like a know it all. YOU FAILED!

you know your comparing christianty to halo it has nothing to do with halo so stop righting about it like that just cause ark means safe haven dosen't mean it is one

first, the info says
that the covenant found something forrunner, it has never been said that it is the ark
(sorry cant get an exact quote, the trailer was removed from marketplace and the downloaded video info was altered?!?!?)

Second, 343 never says anything about the Ark, other than the Ark is the location you need to go to to activate the Halos

stop making up things and posting them here
