sorry, im unfamiliar with that phrase......

but anyways, it is not your position to say that they are wrong for thinking that the Bible and the Halo trilogy are connected because there are a lot of parallels......

You are just stupid as hell man...you don't even have proof, it'd be like me saying:

"There's no proof that there are gonna be any other weapons in Halo 3 besides the AR...because all he has is the AR in the trailer."

You can activate the rings at the ark, but does it ever say that you can't be safe there also?

I don't think halo has that many parallels with christianity. Like Ganon2 said, it wouldn't get very good reviews from people of other religions.

Facts are the enemy of tru7h....

A good question to ask at this point is why the Flood didn't come and consume the supposed saved forerunner after the halo activated??

itz cool man i wuz just saying if in fact it wuz related in the way everyboyd refers to the ark then that would be the only logical explination I can think of other that the other reason that I gave about survivors of the forerunners on Halo

but see everyone has good points and bad ones and usually the bad ones are the ones who have missing information...doesnt make them bad just not fully informed. Cuz really there is no way we can say that the ark is a safe haven...but one can only wonder....I mean the ark is not a safe haven then earth would have had to take another some odd millions yrs to develope into the technlogical state we are today (in the game). Cuz the first activation wuz done 100,000yrs ago..it would have taken more time than that to evolve a single celled organism to what humans are today. Or like my other solution there might be something on the halo rings that doesnt effect those that are in the ring cuz then the flood would not have reappeared in the Halo CE. But as far as religous similarities u have to understand that some of these things can go parallel to biblical references...doesnt mean that they are or inspired from them but u can see why one would easily assume something like that.

dont know bro I mean since all the anxiety builds up....ppl have to like try to make sense of what knowledge they have and incorperate that inot a logical explianation of things. Remember they go by what they've heard, what they have seen, and plus what they already know....and make a conclusion about and idea or theory.

PLEASE don't say that the thing on earth, from the trailer, is the ARK and that it ISN'T a safe haven. That tells people to make the assumption that you know, and no one but the people at Bungie know. It would have been fine to start this thread with "I think" but the "matter-of-fact" tone sounds arrogant. Getting past that:

I believe that the ark would provide some sort of protection. Think about it: If that thing in the trailer was the ark (and i'm not saying it was), and that is 1/3 of the way through the game (said by Bungie themselves), and the "ark" is activating...then what is the next 2/3 of the game going to be?

Please take note that everything I said above could be 100% right (unlikely) or 100% wrong (likely), but I am merely speculating, since no one knows what is really going to be included in Halo 3. Feel free to contradict and/or take apart everything I said, but please do it in a respectful manner, so you don't start with the "flaming", as that only furthers my claim that 90% of the people who use the internet these days have the maturity of people 10 years old and under. Thank you for your given respect in advance.

oh yes lets totally ignore the whole ark, flood, and covenant ties. i mean the ark could be the ark that saved noah from the flood, or the ark of the covenant, that kills anyone when you open it up (and look at it i think unless you're a levii priest). heck it could be anything, but these 2 ties are particularly interesting.

halo is clearly not all about christianity, and no one is saying halo and the bible are the same thing. anyone making a statement like that would be ignorant. there certainly seem to be connections, but this does not mean halo is the bible, told in space.

so, you wouldnt play halo if it was a parallel of the bible? why? because you're being completely close minded and being overly sensitive? I think so. I would play halo no matter what it was so long as the story was still intriguin and so long as it was still fun to play.

before you whine about halo POSSIBLY being connected to the bible, understand that a story is what you make of it. you could take halo at face value and admire it for the scifi game that it is, or for those that seek some extra meaning, they can make connections and get a bit of enjoyment out of doing so.

also, your spelling is terrible. im not sure if it is just typos or what but it seems really choppy. also, it's bungie, not bunjie. it even says so at the top of the screen!
