If it's the afternoon, chances are you will not see the moon, as it is not over your part of the world.
I mean, if you look where the sun is in the trailer, it's either morning or after noon. Either way, the moon won't be straight up , as though it were the noon sun, which is where the beam from the Forerunner structure/ark appears to be heading.
ever heard of a SOLAR eclipse before???
WOW, just go check out a book on astronomy before u make weird assumptions
and btw, when u say the moon is never out during the day, ur actually saying that ur a complete idiot.
Hmm, if it was solar eclipse, then it'd be happening during the trailer. I mean, the majority of the discussion is based on whether or not the artifact is shooting at the moon during the trailer. So I think it's you that needs to stop acting so tough when you don't know what's going on.
I also never said that it was never out during the day. I said that the moon is not out at the position of a noon sun during the time of day that the trailer seems to be taking place at.
Ok. Time to step into a flame war.
The moon could be out, and not eclipsing the sun. It could be in a position that it's at it's zenith, and be targeted by the artifact in the trailer, but not eclipsing the sun.
Remember: A solar eclipse here in North America would not be happening in a below-the-equator continent like Africa. At least, not the same way. So yeah.
