Has anyone ever thought through trying to kickstarter a Bungie community get-together?

I like the idea. Maybe we do need to make it smaller and more withdrawn.

Srsly, would people bite if we said $1200/person 10 people max, 3 days?

Again, just testing the waters.

Key

Either dimgee or acornboy made a thread about a small meetup they went to. (The two of them blend into the same person sometimes, you must excuse my inaccuracy.)

don't like the idea of meeting the community members in person?

Personally, I've come to the conclusion that the overwhelming majority of people online are mentally unstable, and I've seen nothing around here to make me think otherwise.

Chapter

I think a community celebration would be awesome. But, there are many problems. We'd require a good day/time, funds, as well as a place that would work for most of us. It is a good idea, OP. It is just difficult to pt together without the support of Bungie.

I also don't think many people will be a fan of the pices you have stated.

What I'm talking about is someone puts together a plan including lodging, stuff to do, food, probably planned around a conference or something. The idea is that some dude takes on the burden to put the entire thing together. You just pay one dollar amount (pick a number) and everything is covered. Seems like the only way people would do anything other than meet up at PAX.

Yeah, pretty sure part of the process of setting this up would be sharing a minimum amount of personal info with the group. I don't want to meet any of you axe murderers out there.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

As long as some people live more than fifty miles apart from others, I don't think it would work perfectly.

I misread the title, I thought you were proposing a second b.net forum or something with different rules.

Ehhhh a lot of people on b.net are kind of creepy...
