Guide to smack talking

You should of made up your own instrument. You could have named it the PolarLighting -a-phone. People would buy it and they would all be like "Awh, He's so cool for inventing the PolarLighting-a-phone."
Reminiscence: The act or process of recollecting past experiences or events.
When one gets caught up in remembering too many things about the past the mind often makes things seem a lot better (or worse) than they truly were. That's not to say that things weren't good, it's just that the mind has a tendency to exaggurate, and sometimes completely make up facts.
Let's take a look at one fact. Most people are saying that the AR was the best weapon in Halo CE, and that in a sense, it represented Halo. Totally agree that it was a symbol of Halo CE.
Let's take a look at another fact. The Assault rifle was voted the worst weapon in Halo CE over and over again. (That's a shocker.) Essentially, the AR was the weapon that one would pick up to have a minute or two of fun but would never use in a serious combat situation unless conditions forced the player to use it. What weapon does this sound like? The needler in Multiplayer. Don't get me wrong though, I love the AR, just not itching to see it come back.
Need another example? Let's take a look at the CE pistol. The grand pistol that apparently made Halo CE so much better than Halo 2.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but that overpowered cannon made close to mid-range battles so quick that they were frustrating! There was no point in picking up any other weapon (aside from the sniper) fi you had that thing! What fun is a game that revolves 100% around one weapon? On Battle Creek, someone could jump at you from the rocket spawn and you could kill them with the pistol with enough time to move out of the rocket's way! The BR only takes one more shot, but that shot makes things a helluva lot more balanced.
Aother thing; the issue of Skill. "The CE pistol took skill!" "Halo CE took skill" Skill this! Skill that! Tell me something, when you're playing a videogame against friends do you honestly stop and think to yourself: "Does this game take a lot of skill, and if not am I having any fun?" If this is so then people have truly forgotten what gaming is all about, having fun. Something doesn't need to require a butt load of skill in order to be enjoyable. What's more fun, a hardcore game of chess, or goofing off with some friends in Halo 2 (no offense to you hardcore chess players)?
Halo 3 will be an improvement of the other two games, it should not be a redo of Halo CE. Constantly going back to that one thing that was fun instead of searching for new, more creative ways that can be even more fun (and then denying that new things can be better) is backwards thinking.
