mmmm halo1 i think is not fun because the enemis in the gost only want to run over you and in halo2 you can evit that and in halo1 you can't use 2 guns.
however is mor fun and you can pley best in halo2.

Halo 1 is by far a better game and it also requires more talent. The weapons were diverse and had their own purpose. Everyone started with the best weapon in the game being the pistol, so it was skill that gave you the victory over who could reach the noob combo first. Dual weilding sux. What kind of fun is it to do circles with a another guy who is also dual wielding and see who randomly comes out on top? It took skill to kill someone with a sniper in the first. I'm way too good with the sniper in the second. Nothing more satisfying than throwing a well placed frag to blow a vehicle off their course then shooting them down when they fly from their vehicle. H2 requires several of those weak frags to completely destroy the vehicle.....no fun.
Health packs were much better. It's really annoying to take someone almost completely down for them to just hide for a couple seconds to regenerate back to full health. Falling from ungodly heights actually hurt in the first. Everyone can be superman in the second.

I guess what I'm getting at is that Halo is just a more challenging multiplayer game. The only reason H2 is having more success is because it was made for Xbox Live, so of course you can spend more hours playing it. But that doesn't make it better. The graphics doesn't make it better. The fact that you can shoot one of those spikes from the ceiling in waterworks doesn't make it better. The only thing better about H2 is that you have to push the X button to pick up a flag. That is the ONLY thing better.

yes biohazard but in h2 the guns are appear faster, example: the rokets in halo 1 apper in the lasts lavels but in h2 apper in the lavel 4.
I thing the multipleyer in h1 is the same in the h2. We can see a difference in h1 to h2 in x box live.

lol

Halo1 is so much better. Its way more fun. And is harder to play. I would post reasons.. but people already have ;']

"May Warriors Fortunes Smile on our Efforts" Thrawn

"I dare do all that may become a man; Who dares do more is none."
Macbeth

"Where the people fear the government you have tyranny. Where the government fears the people you have liberty." John Basil Barnhill

To be honest I'm stuck between the two I mean 1 had a good story and all but multi sucked hard. Halo 2 on the other had not only has duals but better Graphics and it has little secrets like skulls that I haven't found in halo 1 but then there is a new character the Arbiter so I'm going with Halo2. Hazard does make some good points not to I will agree that in H1 many things take skill. Now theres a RL lock wich has destroyed a lot of LRV, Banshee, and tank use. I think that halo2 was made more for Med. and close range Live rather then close up.

I think h2 is more fun than h1 because the new enemis (bruts) are so much more dificult to kill.

well halo 1 was the start of it and gave you a great first impression but it had alot of flaws. although mostly because they spent a year and a half on the RTS version of it then made it and FPS. just to name a few
the grups looked like plastic (mainly snow covered ground)
human thing don't blow up
if you get tapped by a vehichel you die
halo2 got most of the problems solved but there still are plenty. most of the things and multiplayer and weapon wise.
respawning in the middle of a cross fire, and really far away from your team
the sword is to messed up in timing (you can lunge at a guy at the same time u die but you heard it hit) after lunging at a player you can go fling off the map.
frag are to damn bowency (you can through them and they can come right back at you in the face)
snipers have a range (if you stand at one end of caog and fire the bullet or plasma won't reach the other end.
not being able to do a last second act before dieing (like throughing a nade .5 seconds after or before you die and it cancel it being throughn)
there are alot more things besides the one i mentioned though for both games. i love halo don't get me wrong. halo1 for campain and halo2 for multi

I enjoyed the Classic campaign more, but I like H2 better because of the multiplayer. It's just more about strategy than skill and since I'm not that great at FPS's that means I can still be good at Halo2. I suck at H1, but they're both great games.

When i got halo1 i didn't have live. Heck, i didn't know what live was! So I didn't know much better multiplayer, and anyway I find running around crazily with a friend on split screen with unlimited stickies is 10 times better than getting pwned by geniuses who play live 24/7. Anyway i play for campaign so there's an obvious winner. Halo 1 by a mile.

halo 1 for campaign and halo 2 for multiplayer....
For me halo2 was intended for online gaming and nothing else, hence the reason the campaign was pretty much " non understandable " at times.

For splitscreen Co-op, I'll play Halo 1. Anything else, Halo2. Better controls, better gameplay, better everything.

i think that halo 1 is better in some ways like the co-op play has better levels and you dont go back to last check point when you die playing legendary.

but halo 1 doesn have as good graphics as #2 like when you shoot someone in the head with anything that does a one hit kill when the shields are down the person spins in multiplayer even though you shot him in the center of the face with a sniper rifle.

halo 2 has the duel wield capability which i think would have been cool if they hadnt downgraded the weapons, like the plasma weapons in halo one have a faster cool down rate than in the second and the battlerifle is only good for shooting grunts in the head and the flood in the weak spot, but they also weakened the pistol and the plasma pistol doesnt fire as fast in the second than in the first.

the vehicles got better in the second one but you cant have another person who isnt a npc get on the tank which kinda sucks when you both want to ride on the tank and you end up fighting each other for the tank when you should be playing together which is the purpose of co-op if tha wasnt the purpose then there wouldnt be a co-op option.
the scarab gun is the best gun in teh game but you can only have it on one level and one other good thing about halo2 is that they have the skulls to find which do various things. but they dont realy have any useful extra stuff in halo1 on the campaign mode, which is kind of a bummer cause there are times when i could use a scarab gun to just blow stuff up with one shot.

but i like halo two for the campaign, and for some of the split-screen levels that arent in halo 2, like the level that has all those rooms and the portals are the only way to get from one to other.

thw multi[layer i think in halo 2 is better only because of the graphics and better vehicles, new levels, for the way the person reacts when killed, and it is also fun to play because you can choose to play as an elite.

Are you completely serious? That's probably what everyone had been fighting over after a week or so after 2's release. People said that Halo: CE owned Halo 2 in every single aspect possible. That included mutliplayer as well. The thing was all about screaming at Bungie for making Halo 2 a soccer-mom's game instead of the skill-based Blood Gulch CTF from Halo: CE it should have been.

Halo: CE had a good story. Not completely original, but original enough.
Halo: CE also had excellent multiplayer, in which many people play in LANs over Halo 2.

Halo 2 had a mediocre story which is acceptable for a sequel.... just not a sequel for Halo: CE.
Halo 2 had a fun multiplayer which changed a lot of things Halo: CE had, which made fantastic. There was skill involved, but apparently, not quite enough to keep up with the first game. Not with sweep snipes, auto-aim and all that.
