And why not make Halo for the N64? Come on! Xbox? Psh. [/sarcasm]
Ugh. Stop posting about this. I've probably said this like 50 times, but here we go.
1). Halo 3's graphics are too good for the original xbox, which has a 233Mhz chip, which is about the equilivant of a GeForce 3 (Compared to the GPU of the 360, which has a 'Parent' chip running at 500Mhz, and a 'Daughter' eDRAM also running at 500Mhz). Think of Halo 2 graphics glitches times 10, not to mention loading times.
2.) Halo 3's Engine is far to advanced to run on the original Xbox's processor, a 733Mhz copper-core chip equilivant to a Pentium ///, compare that to the 360's custom IBM triple-core 'Xenon', clocked at 3.2 Ghz (1024Mhz) each.
3). Technology is a growing thing, meaning, it's not gonna stop just because little Johnny can't get mom to buy him a 360.
There.
