Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

-Me

Because some asshat thought it would be funny to release Halo 4 information, the trolls have ruined Halo 4 for me. I have been waiting for 2 years for this game and paid $100 for the legendary edition. I have already have had the game ruined for me by some Jack asses, but that doesn't mean the rest of Bungie's community has to have it ruined for them.

EDIT: I am just pissed that my favorite series of all times next installment was spoiled, I know you guys can't stop asshats from posting spoilers other than swinging your mighty ban hammer. I'm just mad, I'll get over it.

Subject: Dear Bungie, I am requesting an immediate change for a short time.

Have you seen my mind anywhere? I seem to have lost it...

x0x 0x0 0x0 0xx 000 0x0 000
x0x x0x x00 0xx 0x0 x0x 0x0

I have seen you future

Unfortunately I don't think that censoring keywords would stop people from spoiling the game.

Controlling fission events without incident since May, 2012.

Self-imposed blackouts on the internet are the best way to avoid spoilers in the face of an impending game release. I doubt Bungie is going to move to accomodate you. I don't remember them doing anything like that in the past.

When was the game ruined for you? If no long-term memory has been formed, you could administer a self-imposed blackout of a different sort.

I don't see them changing the filter, I would just avoid potential Halo 4 threads until then.

but I didn't even go into a thread, there is just a title in all caps that you can't miss, I am so pissed, there has to be something Bungie can do right?

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

This. I'd go dark if I were you. Or don't be an idiot. Avoid titles with words like "Halo 4." If you start to read a thread, when you realize it has spoilers, leave, don't read it.

Hmmm, the Ninja's do seem to be, shall we say, slacking off a bit when it comes to all this supposed Halo 4 information.

It isn't Bungie's/moderators job to protect your from the Internet.

If someone posts something that breaks the rules, they will be banned but really, it's your job to protect yourself.

Imagine regulating the the internet. Even a single webpage. Really stop to think about the complexity of censoring an entire website from spilling an idea. It's best for you to just avoid certain parts of the internet. If that includes Bnet, so be it.

What a brilliant idea op. Filter all discussion on anything halo based. Use common sense when clicking. You start to see a clip of something that looks new, close the tab. How hard is it to utilize a shred of common sense?

this as well, even when they lock a thread, they do not change the title. We need increased Ninja control right now

  • 10.14.2012 3:52 PM PDT

If you don't want to be spoiled; go dark. It's the best chance you have at playing the game 100% spoiler free.

Meh, your fault for not going dark the moment the game was leaked.

As others have said buddy, if you were that bothered about spoilers then you should have gone 'dark'. There's nothing bungie can do I'm afraid apart from swinging the banhammer.

No, no. Now you're just being ridiculous.

Go AFK, and think about what you're suggesting. It'll probably seem a bit absurd if you just back away for a short time.

But its that time of the month.. most full blown mega games get leaks near or before their release. Next year there will be Destiny leaks too I bet, unless security is tightened even more - but still nothing can be done now. Sorry.
Best of luck dude.

There are many powers in the world, for good or for evil. Some are greater than I am. Against some I have not yet been measured. But my time is coming.
