Hey, I think the first mission in Halo3 should be on Truth's ship. Since at the very end of 2 he was on Truth's ship. So, I think the first mission should be ripping through Truth's ship, and killing him. After you do that, the ship crashes to Earth, and then the rest of the game takes place on Earth. I just thought this would be cool since it would make sense, because that is how Halo2 ended, with MC on Truth's ship.

Do you like this idea?

Any of your own?

-Its a MG42!
-My favorite color is bubble shield

All the fisrt levels were on ships in space, just like starwars, so why not?
But of course that would suck since it would be boss battles in the game then

Well, maybe it doesn't necessarily have to be a boss battle. Maybe you can kinda do what you did in Halo:CE. Destroy his engines so the ship fails and crashes, and maybe the MC gets away on an escape-pod. And while you are trying to destroy the ship, Truth has a bunch of brutes coming after you and stuff.

Naw, the first mission should be the Arbiter, Johnson, Miranda and 343 exiting the control room on the scarab and heading to High Charity to get a ship or something, and on the way pick up Cortana

Yeah thats a good idea too, or maybe it can switch off like it kind of did in H2. Like that can be the first misson and the second one can be the MC on Truth's ship.

I'm betting it will be a on Truth's ship, and the MC will crash land in some kind of escape pod. The second level of both previous games start with the MC coming too after a crash, why break with tradition.

Interesting, any of you have any other idea of what the first misson might be?

Maybe H3 will introduce a new character to the franchise, like a new marine or a new covenant elite, like Half-Jaw: "These are my elites, their lives matter to me, yours does not"

what happened to him anyway? i didn't see him at the ending except heading to the crusier that's above the control room

Each time someone stands up for an ideal, or acts to improve the lot of others, or strikes out against injustice, he sends forth a tiny ripple of hope. That hope is three little numbers: 1 - 1 - 7.

There is hope in us all. We gain strength, courage, and confidence by every experience in which we really stop to look fear in the face. We must do the thing which we think we cannot do; stand with the Master Chief and Finish this Fight!

Land on Earth after the ship came out of Slipstream in Halo 2.

Hoards of Covenant overhead are fighting in Space with the UNSC forces and looking over a Warthog comes to take you to nearby HQ center.

You have the choice of driving there as there will be a point select on your HUD to guide you there or man the turret and begin the game the same familar way that Halo 1 ended.

HIYAAAAAAAA, EAT LED SUCKERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hmm, thats interesting. Or maybe like Tartarus didn't die or something. And you get surprised in the game as he walks up behind you at one point. And as the game goes on and the story of Halo unravels, maybe Tartarus realizes that the Prophets have betrayed them, and helps Miranda, Johnson, Arbiter, and the Oracle.

I don't see Tarturus coming back. His badass days are over, and if you have the Arbiter, whats his use. There seem to be a few to many saviors in the kitchen, if you get my drift. Especially for a franchise claiming the MC as the last hope.

A turtorial of one of your selected troops like Marines or Special Ops or Spartans or Medics or something along those lines!

an anphibious boat drives over and picks you up, and drives you back to base.

Who's driving this mysterious/miraculous boat if the earth and it's military forces(including it's bases I'm sure) has been over run by covenant? Mayhaps Scooby Doo and the gang, that's a mystery to be solved. I like the blowing up the ship part, but I think you'll catch a lot of flak from the pro-fall damage guys if he jumps out of the ship, lands in a lake, and does not die.

I'd rather just end the current storyline first.

I think that they should have a cut scene for the first mission like in Halo 2, it would show the Arbiter, Johnson, and Keyes getting off the halo and more than likely use slipspace to get back to earth. Then the second mission is with the Chief on the Forerunner ship, go through that, kill the prophet and crash land on Earth.
