Read the idea in my sig as to why the Master Chief may not die.

He still may have a purpose of protecting the galaxy from future threats and/or leading the survivors of the human race.

He may be a born leader, but he is also a born killer. The MC would not take a life of politics. Can you see the MC in a suit?

They wouldnt give the arbiter his armor back because then we would have infinite cloak... or they would have to make a stupid reason why it doesnt work or something.

has everyone forgotten the flood!? if the chief saves earth from the covenant, wat about the flood!? they are still around, and there is NO WAY to defeat them in combat, there are too many of them (hence the name The Flood).

OMGosh, did half the people on this forum even play the games?

"Your suit is not as new as ours. Your camoflauge will not last as long."

The Elites' camoflauge was not infinite.

Regardless, I don't think Arbiter has the time to change his armor because of what's going on. Plus, it would be too easy if your were invisable for an enitre level.

the arbiter wont change his armor because the armor is Elite armor and was went to insipre and lead the Elites it was also used in the grunt rebellion and the taming of the hunters (thus keep the armor for their allies)

I don't know if he will change it, I haven't yet figured out his role. However, there may be good reason to change it.

His armor is a symbol of oppression and condemnation. As they said in The Art of Halo, his armor is "part prison--it shackles him to his task." It is also a symbol of the oppression of his allies, the Hunters and Grunts. After all, the place of the armor was to "tame" the Hunters, which is a lot like enslaving them I would think. And in the Grunt rebellion, the armor's wearer forced them to stay with the Covenant.

Thus, getting rid of his armor would prove the new freedom of the Separatists. And because we know Halo is about salvation, it would make sense for him to show their freedom.

1. The MC seemed fine with it during the game, although we will need to wait for the next book to be positive. Besides, his mission is to save humanity, not to kill the Covenant. Evidence of this can be seen when he didn't kill the Engineers in First Strike. They were helping the humans, so he kept them around (the one doesn't count).

2. She probably will come back, although I am quite skeptical about the whole Keyes-with-Halsey thing, unless you have something that proves it that I haven't seen.

3. Not sure. Maybe they should all die.

I think that chief will be glad about the Civil war between the covenant. It "should" take some weight off of the MC's shoulders. I don't think that the good doctor will be coming back any time soon, and as for characters, the Arbitor has got to die in a firey blaze of plasma explosions during a large scale fight during the Covenant civil war. BUT, Johnson WON'T die. He is one of the best NPCs in this entire game franchise. I mean, he's always talkin smack, kickin a$$ and takin names. I also think that something is going to happen to cortana, like, i don't know, use your imagination.
Is he really? I don't know about you, but he got his ass kicked when I played Halo: CE on Legendary. He didn't last a minute.

There won't be a covenant civil war. I will post my theory in a thread as soon as I can.

The war has already started and the Elites along with the Grunts and Hunters are expelled from the Covenant.

I also just thought of this, what if in Halo 3 the Arbiter meets up with the Covenant's newly appointed Arbiter (most likely a Brute). Now that would be pretty interesting.

One game I'm not joking a little like 7 year old said and I quote " tell me what your dick looks like so I can imagine it in my head and beat off to it"

If Team Swat became ranked, would there still be no shields?

Amazing!

Good God.

Do you even know what the Arbiter is? Do you know why he is in the outfit he is? He was removed his gold armor on Halo 2 because HE IS THE ARBITER.

Go play and listen to the Prophets next time.

Listen to it again.

"your armour system is not as...."new" as ours, it will not last for ever."
