I'm blue da ba di da ba dai!

In halo 1 GS says you need a lvl 12 armor and says you a lvl 2 so if the humans get a lvl 12 armor they could destroy the flood easy.

Nukes are used already. The Shiva warhead and then there is a tactical nuke i cant remember the name of. But napalm would be relatively archaic for the Halo time period. WE dont even use it anymore. It was really only used in the Korean War and Vietnam.

Plus Flood cells are likely impervious to heat, as they don't like the cold.

If it were real life, we would probably use neutron bombs...

they kill organics and leave no physical destruction... but noooooooo, the future probably hasnt developed our already existing weapons.

Well, maybe that is what the halo's are. A giant chain of nuetron bombs designed to whipe the galaxy clean of organic life. Also, a nuetron bomb probably wouldnt be used because the goal of a military isnt to destroy life, but to win the battle with as little cost as possible.

apparently not, because the "at least" implies that there is a better level(s) of armor than 12, and also, the forrunners were "driven to their last tactical option" (343 GS, H2), so they had to use Halo

i don't think that armor alone would stop an infestation

By the way, someone wanted to know what the other nuke was, and that's the Nova bomb (First Strike), Vice Admiral Witcomb was left behind on reach so he could set them (volunteered, actually). Anyways, the theory was that this bomb (a cluster of nukes) would have enough force to kill planets, and they would be used to "level the playing field" out in space battles

my way to clean them up is to train extra spartans for "mop up" and use as many novas near halos, as well as broken halo debris, as possible

Given the adaptive nature of the flood I think this nigh on improbable. Remember the Flood infested the Truth and Reconciliation and were repairing it and prepping it for launch?

Whatever weapon you possess to fight them, no matter what armour, no matter what gun or no matter how powerful the starship the Flood make it their own.

  • 06.27.2006 6:35 PM PDT

just give Chief a shotgun, a BR, and a few backpacks full of Shotgun shells and BR clips

oh, and give him a ride there

do that, and a few hours later, send in a cleanup crew.

Glassing a planet, you must be ridicolous and if the flood took over your starship? Then'll just invade another planet like a domino effect.

somehow take control of all of the sentinals, by some method like radio signals or some super crazy future technology, and use those. or get one of the monitors to not be so crazy about activating halo and make them more into the idea of the sentinals
