There are sticky threads for a reason, go read them. They're the first threads you see here, so before you ask any more questions, try to look if your answer is already in one of the existing sticky threads.

The Guides sticky will tell you what the console is, and how to use it. No one is helping you because you just asked the question.

It's quite simple and obvious.

lol

Download maps, and extract/place them in the folder /maps/

which by default is

C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\maps

The console:
Go to your desktop and look for the Halo Custom Edition shortcut. Right click and go to properties. In the "Target" box type in '-console' at the end of the target, without the 's. So it becomes:

"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Games\Halo Custom Edition\haloce.exe" -console

Then in game press the 'tilda' key(~). It's above your TAB key, and also it's next to the '1' key.
