Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

I was strolling through the site FAQ, and I noticed this under the Bungie.net Forum Bans section:
The Code of Conduct and Terms of Use apply to all areas of Bungie.net. Please read them before posting on the forums. Forum bans cannot be appealed. You have no rights. Play nice.

Does this mean that users can no longer contest a ban and have it appealed? Does the HFCS article about appealing a ban only apply to bans on the forum rules and not the CoC and ToU? I'm so confused.

To my knowledge, people can still appeal bans.

I did once.

Just PM whoever that banned you.

Who am I?

mah twitter

I think so, I've seen few people say they got their perma bans lifted recently.

Games I like:,
Half-Minute Hero
MBU
Portal
Halo 3 is the best Halo ever
Maps I like: Turf, Avalanche, Pylon, Sandbox, Breakpoint and many more.

Not fully, if it's a temporary ban. I did however, convince bobcastto lower my 14 to a 3. That feeling.

Come to think of it, I do know one person who recently got off of a perma.

The FAQ saying it doesn't still confuses me though. Maybe an intern wrote it?

I'd follow the FAQ...it's only reasonable to assume that the HFCS article is out of date and no longer valid.

If you are issued a ban by a ninja you may contact a master moderator from what I've been told. If it was issued by a master moderator you can contact DeeJ or Achronos if you feel it's an unjust ban. Not quite sure why it states forum bans cannot be appealed.

It will probably be updated if it's an error or bungie.next. But if it's something really serious I don't see those as appealable. But that is my opinion.

Do you know about time travel?

User bans can still be appealed. As futile as it usually is, what with all the death threats and your mean siblings coming on your account while you were away and spamming the forums, users can still appeal. Try to have a good reason for being appealed though.
