I would like to see them fix the vehicles so if people shoot the turret it won't hurt you. I think it is pretty unrealistic the way it is in HALO 1. In order to kill the driver you should have to actually shoot him, but I guess rockets and 'nades would be an exception...and the fuel rod cannon. Wich makes me 'happy' because the fuel rod and (possibly) the flamethrower will be in HALO 2. Ooorah.
And just to say, coaxial machine guns are really used for marking your target. In real life at least, since tanks these days cannot turn their turrets like you can in HALO, speedwise. But it isn't accurate in HALO so you can use it for a close range weapon. I like your idea of having a seperate machine gunner, btw. I think it would not only be effective but look cool...and provide sniper targets *Pets his HALO sniper rifle* :P.
I don't know about that starcraft thing though. That would only be good for artillery that lobs stuff, like that Covie plasma gun in the demo from E3 2001...2002? I don't remember...
I don't like the idea of not enabling people to ride on the tread fenders though. (I'm a lazy person wich, unless you arn't human, most of you guys are, so it is pretty convenient to be able to hitch a ride to the battle or for retreating, wich I rarely do seeing as after I die I respawn.) *Wonders what life would be like if you could respawn when you die.*
Hmm...well, I think bungie knows what they are working on, so I think things will turn out allright. I mean, hell! Never in a million years could I do all of that computer program...code...number stuff.
And believe it or not, but HALO is the only video game series I play...at least now. (I lost interest in most video games since I played them to death when I was younger.)
Anyway, a T-storm is coming and my computer has no surge protector or whatever, so talk to you guys later.
