Who Dares, Plays.

How about A GAMETYPE(One, not multiple) Where there are two teams. Covenant and Human. The teams would go something like this.

1 Special Character(Arbiter/Masterchief)
2 Main game characters(Sarge Johnson+someone/Elite with half his mouth+someone)
3-5 Minor characters(Marines,ODST's/Jackals,Grunts,Elites with no shields)

A few friends and I just think it would be an awesome gametype, bringing some sort of tactics to the multiplayer scene. Minor characters would have to stick together, or be possibly wiped out by the Specials/Maingame's, and the Maingame's could possibly stick together, but wouldn't have to if they thought they were badass enough.

Keep in mind they would be randomized positions, and hopefully dedicated(wink wink) servers.

Which is why they would have to stick together, maybe make them damage resistant. As long as they stuck together, they could take down a main/special together. Maybe they would start with better weapons and have damage resistance.

This is a far and very distant stretch for Live. A more realistic possibility would have customization options that would allow you to create this gametype for either single box or lan use, but even that seems like a long shot.

....NO...Just no.

I wouldnt play this gametype...i like being MC. And i don't think many people would want to be minor characters, even if in groups they can kill main characters. Being a Spartan is so much cooler that being a grunt or jackal.

I wouldn't mind seeing something along the lines of Team Juggernaut, where each team gets one member, chosen at random, to have special abilities. Only the Juggernaut can get points, and if your juggernaut dies, there is a limit before another person becomes the juggernaut.

Or, this just occured to me, perhaps only have one juggernaut, but have two teams. only the juggernaut can get kills, and the juggernaut's teammates protect him. maybe killing the juggernaut gives extra points (you would be able to set the amount, from 0 to like, 6 maybe, depending on how powerful the juggernaut is in any given gametype) betraying the juggernaut would give a random player on the other team juggernaut, and give you a long respawn time.

What do you think of that?

(10:19:49 PM) Scruss: oh and pezza, i saw what you did to that cat
(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

I can't really see this being put into the game. It seems too far fetched.

So you obviously don't like Ghost Recon or America's Army? If you don't like that idea, you don't like tactical or more realistic games. There are some people out there, myself included, that would love to have a tactical gametype out there. Unless you think Halo:CE and Halo 2 are both extremely tactical games, which you are sadly mistaken.
