You can get an adaptor for ~$10 afaik. Seriously though, you'll get your butt handed to you w/ a controller. The mouse aiming is much more accurate and faster. Save your money and get a decent optical mouse for Halo PC. Once you figure out how to lay waste to mountains of n00bs, you'll thank me. ;)

Or use that Xbox controller and plug it into an Xbox console game system and play the game from there instead.

I'll give it a go for sure, but I just want to jump right in!! I bought this system because it was designed with gaming in mind. I have nothing against the mouse, I'm just drooling over the chance to get at the new maps, sweet!!

i bought an adapter for the PC a couple of months ago and to be honest i wasn't that impressed with it. All the buttons work and you get rumble but the analogue sticks were crap. I noticed that when i was moving forward i started to drift left and right even though i was pushing up on the analogue stick. This can be very annoying especially when you're trying to kill someone, because it feels like you have no control. If i was you learn to use a keybourd and mouse.
