I don't think that we need such a feature, but I don't really care if it's implemented or not.

Oh hey there

It's a metaphor for the 07s' lack of identity. too old to be newfag, yet too new to be oldfag, we wander b.net in search of a home, forever trying to be something we are not.

I hate this argument, which is brought up in every thread about improvements to the site. Just because we don't need something doesn't mean it shouldn't be implemented. Hell we don't "need" to have forums, this could just be a site where Bungie advertises their games. But you enjoy the forums don't you?

Private groups are really the only thing that is keeping Bungie.net moderately active during the darkness and anything that can spice them up is in my opinion a necessity. Especially something that gives users something to aspire to and keep them coming back for more.

Good idea spawn.

Known by some, but not by all.

I forsee the ban of all groups if we have a trust rating for groups.

Trust rating? No.

User rating? Yes.

When I grow up I want to be bitter and spiteful.

Statistics are always nice but a rating seems a bit silly and an inaccurate representation of the group.

Groups already build reputations without the aid of a system. I would assume users are looking for groups based on common interests, not the number of homepage views.

Exactly. The system would simply act as an aid for members to find groups based on their common interests.

Want a highly active group for Borderlands? You can search for that.
Want a low activity group that's Off Topic? You can search for that.
Want a moderately active group based on Minecraft? You can search for that.
Want an old school Forge group? You can search for that.

The limits are endless, user's would simply feed off of other users content. The purpose for having the trust rating isn't to boast about how whatever group has X trust. It's for users to quickly identify how a group is and if that fits their desires.

A fantastic idea, but lets be honest, nobody wants a well done steak.
