I seem to be getting this error quite frequently and it seems to occur exclusively on Chrome.

Is anyone else experiencing this?

Screenie, very cryptic.

It looks as though the HTTP message has potentially been corrupted and no distinction can be made between the HTTP headers and the body (two newlines do that), so the browser assumes the entire message consists only of the body and has dumped all of it (headers and the body) onto the page.

The reason the body is garbled/gibberish is because the response has been compressed (gzipped). The browser is supposed to uncompress and read it.

Still better than you.

.....most of you, at least.

I use IE, so the only error I get is 404.

So, is it a bug with Chrome or the website has improper coding?

In english?

It's hard to say exactly why.

What's being dumped on the page looks like a valid response, although there is something weird near the beginning of the message where it says "File was not modified". If the 304 response was correct, it should be in place of "OK" and the "200" should read 304. It's almost as if there is a kind of "wrapped response" around the message from bungie.net.

Try any/all of the following:

1) Clear your browser cache.
2) Disable all extensions.
3) If possible, disconnect/reconnect from the Internet (especially if this happens with any other sites) and/or scan your computer for malware.

Tried clearing my cache, still getting the 304 Error. I'll try disabling all extensions.

Guess that did the trick, I'll try to enable certain extensions to deduce which is causing it.

If you send me a message with specific chrome version and extensions we will take a look. Could be that some changes I made are not playing nice with all possible browser combos....
