Subject: 304 Not Modified error

No need to be nitpicky.
What he meant was that he never put the IP address into his address bar to come here, he used the domain name, and DNS did it's thing.

we both know what I meant

I prefer the DNS to typing in the IP
because Its faster.

Technically it's slower because it avoids the name resolution (ie. if you don't specify a domain name then no lookup can/needs to be made), but trying to make a case for always doing this would be difficult since multiple websites can be hosted at a single address (which is where DNS is essential, or at least knowing the hostname you want as well) and the default application/site to serve being completely dependent on the server config.

I also wouldn't refer to that as being "faster" either, because you're really only measuring how fast you can push a button. A better (and more appropriate) comparison would be in terms of usability: How usable is an IP address compared to a domain name for a user in terms of web browsing?

Some things in this World you just can't explain; but that doesn't mean they are any less true, just that you have to chose to believe in them.

Try any/all of the following:

1) Clear your browser cache.

Tried that, nothing :/

2) Disable all extensions.

That appears to be working.
3) If possible, disconnect/reconnect from the Internet (especially if this happens with any other sites) and/or scan your computer for malware.

Did that last night, was still goofing up.

It appears my extensions where the cause, I'll be rooting out the cause of it right now. Think we'll get an update soon to make it compatible?

I went through them all.

It appears almost every extension I have causes problems on Bungie.net, yet it worked just fine a week ago.

And I have every extension off.

If you're going to post pictures of what's happening, make sure you blank out the cookie values like in the image in the OP.

I enabled SOME of my extensions, I'm getting the error back.

Seems to work fine without any extensions enabled.

We aren't here to ruin your experience (Well Qbix is).

You know, now that we're talking about Chrome and such,, I'm also experiencing problems with it.

Whenever I try to edit anything in my profile (say I go into edit profile), the page won't load and the url adds a "#" sign at the end (Bungie.net/Account/Profile.aspx#)

Any help?

On the subject, does anyone still have problems with firefox? I remember pages would just cut out about half way down the page quite often, one of the reasons I switched to chrome. Does that still happen?

δόξει τις ἀμαθεῖ σοφὰ λέγων οὐκ εὖ φρονεῖν.

Euripides, Bacchae. 480.

I'm using Chrome Canary (OS X) and haven't had this issue. That surprises me.
