Ugh, no more commercial angst rock bands. Keep it orchestral. Halo 2 got away with 1 rock instrumental. Anything more would have been pushing it far too far. Don't be hellbent on ruining the atmosphere of the game just so you can hear your favourite band in there. You'll probably be able to play custom soundtracks anyway seeing as it's the 360.

To be fair, it was 4 rock inst. And the *atmosphere* is set 500 years in the future where orchestras are probably long gone.(Rock dwindling; Rap...don't even get me started about rap; Techno[or some other new form of music] would probably be reigning.)

....i'm sorry to ruin your parade, but in the books, halsey very much pereferred to here orchestral music

and rock music was considered ancient, "flip" music, and was hated by the marines, but liked by Sergeant Johnson

just thought i would point that out

(10:19:49 PM) Scruss: oh and pezza, i saw what you did to that cat
(10:20:17 PM) Pezza: You were the one with the video camera breathing heavily. Of course you saw.

No, i think Marty should do the music, and ONLY him. As for the vioce actors? I say we keep the same as before.

Incubus didn't do the Halo Theme. They did the song Follow which is played in the level The Arbiter when you fly in the Banshee.

That song kicked ass. Everything else that wasn't Marty was BALLS!

Stick to Marty, and maybe get a muse song in there ('Knights of Cydonia' is a prime track).

We've been here since you left.
We left before you came.

I liked Breaking Benjamin in Halo 2. i think that since Halo is a run and gun FPS. It should have more hard rock rhythms instead of elevator music. Some music that you could kick ass to.

Like jdogmoney said, they should have a squad/platoon of Marines consist of the Red vs Blue creators and actors.

Umm, I hate to be picky, but there are no caps...

But hey, what if you could unlock the RvB guys, perhaps as a Skull or something...

I think they should include the "Old Stuff" track from Halo 1, remember in the tape? That song kicked butt. As for bands, I would love Linkin park, Three days grace, Nine Inch Grills, Benjamin Breaking, maybe incubus i dont know, no hoobaskank, and maybe the theme song from the A-team. For the rest, marty will work his magic.

At the very end of the game, the ending should be every character thats in the game gets in one place and starts spinning around while the player listens to You Spin Me Right Round Baby by Dead or Alive!

Nine Inch Grills?

Don't you mean Nine Inch NAILS?

Or am I missing something?

I would rather unknown voice actors than celebrity voice. Because all I thought when I heard Ms Rodriguez was "Oh that butch from Fast and the Furious" (sorry but its true) Same with Dona.

You CANNOT kick ass to Breaking Benjamin. Even there name makes me die a little inside. So emo...

Compare that trash to the awesome guitar work in the Halo CE theme while scaling back up the levels at the end of the Silent Cartographer - now THAT us music to kick ass to.

Either get someone good, heavy and NOT geared towards 14 year old boys that haven't discovered Propagandhi yet, or don't get anyone at all.

P.s. Everyone should listen to the album: Today's Empires Tomorrow's Ashes. It will make your life better.

Maybe a song like "Its The End Of The World As We Know It" by REM. Except vamp it up 10 fold to kick arse.

If you dont agree with me...well I dont really care.
92% of teens moved on to rap music. If your part of the 8% that stayed with rock,© put this on your sig. {Courtesy of Almstask8r515}

I think they need to put more rock music in Halo 3 than was in Halo 2. The harder the better. Put some Metallica, Mudvayne, Disturbed, or something in there. As for the voices I could really care less, but I did like the Dane Cook idea.

Definately not Linkin Park....they used to be one of my favorite bands, but Come on, they can not make anything near as beautiful sounding as the music that old man Marty makes. His tracks will last forever, ( i hate to say this next part for fear of flaming) but Linkin Parks tracks will be forgotten very soon, because they pretty only much appeal to the generation of teen angst cry me a river emotional techno/rap/alt rock music, and I'm sorry to say that kind of music will not stand the trials of time. Marty, on most of the tracks, has done an amazing job of creating a certain mood with his tracks...

just think...The halo 3 Trailer.....when that first piano chord hit, I bet you anything that almost every person watching that, halo fan or not, got a chill down their spine. After that came the amazing orchrestra which just captured the mood of the battle that was to come and the Epic-ness of it...i don't know about you, but after seeing that trailer, i was almost left breathless. And one reason for that was the music....
