Nope bungie removed them ... just to annoy you.

They had to break some major cannon, rewrite a few books and white out some of the game audio ... but bungie is willing to go that extra mile for some pure lolz.

I find it sad that the only way Reach can be canon is when they have to change stuff and you have to read things that is outside the game. If anything Reach is ONI or UNSC propaganda. For example in the novel Reach lasted about what a day or so? But in the game it lasted for weeks so ONI lied about that to keep the peoples moral some what high.

Dont be too tough on poor old bungie.

It was like their last day on the job, they knew they had been given the sack by Microsoft but had to work out their time.

If it had been your local burger joint I would have expected them to have spit on each and every burger bun.

well I'm not actually sure... Bungie took the story seriously, but I reckon there is such a large amount of loopholes when you fabricate a universe of your own that you can easily make mistakes.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

I never thought of that. I guess you can, OP, since we haven't been told otherwise.
