Quick as a razor, sharp as a bullet.
if we are to link the halo plot to the bible, then the ark protected people and animals from the flood ITSELF and not what got rid of it! hence, if the stories are similar, the ark would not allow flood in, but would still not protect from the halos. this makes sense as who would want the flood in the ark, it would mean the halos wouldn't be able to be activated. also, if the halos can only be activated by the humans, and not the flood or covenant, could that mean that the forerunners did not want their own creations activating the halos (dna scan maybe), as the covenant call the forerunners their gods, perhaps they created them after failing to create decent life with the flood. then, when the forerunners activated the halos the covies embraced their creators' inventions!
what do you think? bullcrap or genius?
