Bungie has created more than just games. It has created a unique community where we can discuss about Bungie's past games, have a good laugh with DeeJ and many other Bungie employees.

The fact of the matter is that you'll probably still see us amongst the Bungie community in 5 years time.

I am here because of the community, the games are just a bonus.

OP, you forget that BUNGIE is essentially the batman of the videogame developers world.

Developer 1: I have a AAA game and a devoted fanbase. You can check your stats on my site.

BUNGIE: I'm BUNGIE. (read as - I'm batman)

Developer 2: Oh -blam!-.

Developer 3: What the...

Developer 4: DaaaAAAmmmnnnn, Developer 1 just got served!

Bungie has one of the best and loving gaming communities, I doubt people would just turn away. Also, their new Universe will be awesome. I hope.

What makes it the best? And what IF it becomes a flop. Will you still sign in the site and give it a second chance?
So what if it flops, as a community we should support Bungie through both good and bad times, if the game goes bad we help them the best we can so they as developers can improve and overcome mistakes made. Saying things like "your game -blam!- blows -blam!-" isn't helping.

Also, Bungie has more interactions with its' community than any other company I've seen.

Exactly. OP, you don't sound like you have much faith in Bungie and 'Destiny'?

What is Bungie with out Halo?

If Bungie's new game turns out to be horrible, would you still be loyal to bungie?
Bungie is Bungie, but it really comes down to the community. I love the community, and hope to make some amazing friends on here, along with the couple I already have.

What truly makes this community special; what sets it apart from say: Reddits, Waypoints or Call of Duties?
There is a level of classiness due to how clean they keep it here. I like the intelligent humor, and serious amount of interest in the community as a whole, versus just a game.
As of now, Bungie doesn't have a game to discuss (just speculation so far), so what exactly can we discuss on a video game developer's site with no game?
You must be new here, we do this sort of thing quite often.
Rddit has those subreddits that makes it unique; you can discuss ANYTHING on that site without having to really worry about rules.
The rules keep things classy and a lot more intelligent I believe.
Waypoint has Halo, one of the best video games created. Any thing about Halo can be discussed there. Along with checking out your Halo records.
I'm done with Halo, for the most part.

Bungie, what does it have? Us.

What game can we talk about? Again, welcome to the Darkness, it happens quite often.

We can only speculate. And we might have to wait another year into they release info about it.
That's pretty much what we deal with here, and that's just what we have to get used to.

This just about sums it up, I think I'll always be loyal to Bungie no matter what... We've been through so much together.

Halo: Combat Evolved was the very first game I played on the Xbox and I think that has created an unbreakable bond between me and the company that is known as Bungie.

As of now, Bungie doesn't have a game to discuss (just speculation so far), so what exactly can we discuss on a video game developer's site with no game?Discuss whatever you feel like, there's loads of great threads regarding the Destiny Project such as Cortana 5s' Bungie's Destiny: The Joyeuse IP Formula: Version 2.0 for example. Speculation can be fun. We also have the Mail Sacks where you can win cool things and show off your talents in little challenges...hell, if you have an idea for a contest share it. The Flood forum you can discuss random things there or you can go to private chapters and carve out your own piece of the community. Many things can be done, you just have to be willing to look for them.

What is Bungie with out Halo?Bungie.

Rddit has those subreddits that makes it unique; you can discuss ANYTHING on that site without having to really worry about rules. That's not always a good thing, letting people run loose can lead to trouble. And the major difference between reddit and B.net is that one is just a random discussion board with no real affiliations and the other represents a company.

Waypoint has Halo, one of the best video games created. Any thing about Halo can be discussed there. Along with checking out your Halo records.343 took over Halo so naturally everything related to Halo would be transferred to them. That doesn't mean you can't discuss Halo here.

Call of Duty is another popular game, same with Waypoint's; you can talk about Call of Duty and keep up on your records. It's a save-haven for all the CoD gamers.I've never been to one of their sites and don't think I will be any time soon.

What is Bungie with out Halo?
One of the most well known game developers in the world.

If Bungie's new game turns out to be horrible, would you still be loyal to bungie?Yes. That comes with the job - being apart of a community.

What truly makes this community special; what sets it apart from say: Reddits, Waypoints or Call of Duties? The interaction as in game nights, mail sacks, employees posting ect.

As of now, Bungie doesn't have a game to discuss (just speculation so far), so what exactly can we discuss on a video game developer's site with no game?Almost anything we want.

I see it like this..okay

Rddit has those subreddits that makes it unique; you can discuss ANYTHING on that site without having to really worry about rules.Bungie.net has chapters.. go on..

Waypoint has Halo, one of the best video games created. Any thing about Halo can be discussed there. Along with checking out your Halo records.Which just recently all got transfered. Plus it only has Halo Reach game stats and all the Halo achievements. I think.

Call of Duty is another popular gameYou mean Activision?

same with Waypoint's; you can talk about Call of Duty and keep up on your records. It's a save-haven for all the CoD gamers...right..?

Bungie, what does it have? Its community.

What game can we talk about?'Destiny'.

We can only speculate.Thats all you can do when a developer starts work on a new game.

And we might have to wait another year into they release info about it.with patience comes rewards.

You don't have to hope with Bungie.

I completely forgot about urk writing that. Because of things like this, that is why I'm here. Bungie is full of talent, not just on the developer side but even in their PR and everyday writing sides.

Very rarely online can you find words that move you when you read them the first time. Even more rarely can you find words that you stubble upon later in life and find that you are just as moved by the power behind them.

For me, I'm here because of Frankie, Ske7ch, urk, and DeeJ because they are all gifted with a talent I can appreciate. Everything else is a bonus I am happy to receive.

If their next game sucks, which I doubt, then I'll pretend it didn't happen and continue to live in private groups.
