Subject: Questioning Bungie and the Community.

Кланяються мені!

I could say we all came here because Bungie created Halo, rather it was for news of for stats. Then some became to devoted to the community and the ideals of behind the company that brought us together. We developed a loyalty to them. Loyalty hardly needs rational reasoning to keep us here. Much like one may continue going to the same store for shopping, or visit the same hair salon/barber shop. There are plenty of other places that offer the same services, yet we remain loyal and continue on.

I remember when I used this space to put cool looking links to my chapters back in the day. I don't even know why I'm using it now. Why are you even reading this? You must be interested in me. Still reading?

What is Bungie with out Halo?
We don't know yet. We will soon find out.

If Bungie's new game turns out to be horrible, would you still be loyal to bungie? Well, I stayed loyal through Halo Wars, ODST, and Reach...

What truly makes this community special; what sets it apart from say: Reddits, Waypoints or Call of Duties? We are more closely knit. That doesn't necessarily mean on a personal basis, but do you see any other communities for games this size?

As of now, Bungie doesn't have a game to discuss (just speculation so far), so what exactly can we discuss on a video game developer's site with no game?We can discuss how we discuss nothing.

I think that Bungie has shown us that they are more than capable of producing a fantastic game.

I'm here because I'm a fan of their prior work, and I enjoy socializing with others who also share that view (aka the community!), and I look forward to their next project.

Long live the Seventh Column.

I am here because of the community, the games are just a bonus.

I think that goes for most of us, including me.

If Bungie's next game turns out to be terrible then this community will still praise it because they are fanboys and that's what they do.

Half true actually. I'm sure most of the people here, myself included, will still support Bungie even if we find the game terrible. We won't praise it if we really hate the game, just like Reach - us 'fanboys' criticise the game often. Also, whether a game is 'terrible' or not is subjective therefore you cannot call us fanboys if perhaps you personally find the game 'terrible' and we don't. We are not mindless beings who will praise something that we don't like, but we most definitely will support Bungie. I think the level of dedication from the Community is evident from the number of people who still visit this site regularly - even without regular game updates, we still come back to sit around the campfire that is the Community, united by our devotion to Bungie. This is what makes the Community special, not praising a game by Bungie simply because it is made by Bungie.

Tag 'm and Bag 'm

Well I came here to learn new stuff about the games Bungie has made, but I'd stayed here because I like the discussions this community comes up with and the jokes of cours.
If Bungie's next game will fail, then I'll still be visiting these forums every once in a while just to check how everybody is doing.
