Usually, in Halo 1 and Halo 2, they started it off slow with a training kind of thing to see what settings you would like. Now, where we left on Halo 2, the MC is on a small thingy flying somewhere, is he going to be tested there? I dont think so.

We would be prreeettyyyy upset if they skip the fight for a training session for new players..

How do you think they will make us choose settings.

BTW I say choose settings because they usually make us do tests like look at the lights, choose normal or inverted... stuff like that.
Are we going to be in that small little ship and then make the MC test himself? lol
MC: ok Masta Chief, Look at the little light! that's it! now the other one... great! should I keep it inverted? no? okay, your targeting looks fine, let's check diagnostics...

Location: Outlaws' Summit.

Prophet of Truth: "Ok demon, look left........good..........look right...........excellent.........look up........look down....im going to switch to inverted......now look........ok swithcing back. Your shields have no upgrades, so lets test them: KILL THE DEMON."

*gunshots blaze*

MC: "you dirty craphead"

and that is how we test the H3 controls/shield

I HAVE THE GREATEST IDEA!! They would keep the sensitivity settings from your Halo 2 profile and bring them over to halo 3 and they would ask something like "Would you like to use the settings from Such and Such or So and So?" And of course you would pick Such and Such and you are on your way!

I remember how in the original game if you played on Legendary it was almost understood that you knew what you where doing, you didn't go through the training and you had access to bombs almost as soon as you started. I think that on the easy setting you should get a synamatic of the ship battle, leading to on ground set up (looking up, down left and right). Otherwise if you choose normal or harder, you actually start to play from Mc's position at the end of Halo 2

i believe no testing should be done. i mean, if you want to change it, go to the options

people can definitely figure it out on their own

i think it will be the same as the other 2...they will just replace the MC with the Arbiter.

They will probably do the Arbiter for the first level. Possibly he is still allied with Gravemind, and will get teleported to him for testing. Since infection forms are so expendable, you will probably test out melees and grenades on them. And then he might send a combat form at you, and are told to ATTACK HIS WEAKPOINT FOR MASSIVE DAMAGE!!!!
