I'm a stubborn guy. I love to argue my opinion, but unlike others, I'll try to see your side of the problem. I'm a triathlete, with a very heavy empephis on the swimming bit. Also, don't hate on the ~Quinton~ at the end of my posts. Why are you still reading this? #creeper #hashtagcashmoney for hashtaging on Bungie.net

I've always been kind of curious as to why Bungie doesn't have an XBL App. They have one for smart phones. XboxLive now has IE, and you've always been able to access the Internet from PSN, so you can get on Bungie.net via consoles, why not simplify it?

I think it would be convienent and cool to have it, especially is Bungie's next game is integrated with Bungie.net.

And come on, 343i has Waypoint

Does anyone else agree?

I don't see that happening. The current APPs on Xbox only show videos so I don't think that would be any use for Bungie.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

As "fun" as apps are, I find myself asking "wasn't the idea of the Web to remove specialized and one-trick-pony online access by unifying the software/platform needed and a providers content was at their URL?"

Sometimes apps remind me of the very early days of Prodigy, GEnie, Compuserve and AOL where each provider had their front end and consumers had to use it or GTFO.

Waypoint is pretty much a SuperHub for all the Halo games. Why would Bungie need something like that? I would rather visit their website or app.

On that note they should work on the mobile app before an Xbox Live one.

Fun fact: The internet, as you describe it, still exists. It's just supplemented by all kinds of additional media channels now.

Still, I don't think an Xbox live app is a good fit for Bungie (yet). They barely have enough online functionality or content to make their mobile app worthwhile.
