My uncle, he introduced me to Halo, and xbl.
You're going to end up a lot like my nephew when he grows up...unfortunately.

Though now over 11 years later its reign has ended and I will jump on the opportunity for a name change if it ever presents itself.
So you use a different alias now?

Because I was a young ignorant child that liked halo...

Mine has evolved from my days on IRC. I was born to the internet as CrimsonQL, which as then shortened to Crimmy, then finally Krimm.
The 117 is simply because "Krimm" has been taken on XBL.
Do you frequent Adelais (IBO)?

My user name is pretty simple. It's a family nickname based off an old family nickname. When I was a kid everybody called me Bean (I come from a culture that doesn't use your "real" name, ever-bad luck). When I deployed to Iraq, I found a call center in Baghdad and called home to my uncle. He said he was going to start calling me Baghdad Bean and it stuck. When I got back state side it was a no brainer to use BaghdadBean for my gamertag and forum handle, since it would let my family find me easier to play.
That's name is kickassery, and so is it's meaning.

This has already been done. See thread "What was the inspiration for your username?".
I created this thread because it's amazing to me how much importance and thought (and at the same time how much apathy) and how much meaning (and how much randomness) we can put into something as important as the name we're known as everyday by up to millions of people on the internet.
I wasn't trying to be "original" I was trying to know a bit more about the people I talk to here.
I can't even find that thread you mentioned.
