While yes everyone has a little of caring what other people think. Well, at least at some points. I find it stupid to have that be one of the things that motivate people's actions in real life and on here.

To not care what others think of you is ignorant. It's almost as ignorant as it is to place an exaggerated importance on being popular.
Also, if you say you don't care what other people think of you, you're most likely lying, even if you say you're not. The likelihood that you actually have absolutely no feelings or ounce of care-juice in your care-cup for what other people think is far outweighed by the chance that you're most likely just saying something like that to seem not-so-self-absorbed. Because, apparently, people conscious of the fact that they, along with almost everyone else, enjoys attention and cares about what other people think are self-centered.
Take all of that, relate it directly to BNet, put an OT at the beginning of this, and I'm done.
