Subject: REVOLUTIONARY and NEW idea for the IMPROVEMENT of Bungie.net

This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends,
This is the way the world ends;
Not with a bang but a whimper.

I feel like admonishing the user about his use of caps lock for emphasis. It's annoying, even when done satirically.

It's undoubtedly a feature used extensively elsewhere.

I don't even open it. It's probably going to be some minor tweak to a little-used aspect of the site, or a rehash of why would should have a like/friends list/IM feature.

So ironic...

DEEDLE LEEDLE LEEDLE DEEEEE

I read it, and usually what I read frustrates me, but I just close the document and move on.

"We are what we repeatedly do. Excellence, therefore, is not an act but a habit."

I usually click automatically, realize my mistake and then quickly press back.
I can normally read a few lines of the OP, and if it's interesting I may return.

This thread would have appealed to me more if it was written with crayons.

I broke one of the cords for my X11s because I couldn't get past the final American course in Doritos Crash Course.

I look at the name, if its a mythic member it's probably a joke....bingo.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

It is annoying seeing so many of them sometimes, but some of the ideas are actually good.

the only problem i have with mine is that it's unstable,[very shakey],so you'd need a tripod for it.

Just drink a beer and everything will be ok

If they are actually original, then they can be interesting. Like that one where everyone's "like" logo would be a custom coloured Destiny logo.

Bye.

I usually demand to know why the idea hasn't already been implemented already! There's no such thing as a bad idea!

I don't even open it. It's probably going to be some minor tweak to a little-used aspect of the site, or a rehash of why would should have a like/friends list/IM feature.

So ironic...

And why is that?

I think you missed it. The title of the thread being "REVOLUTIONARY and NEW idea for the IMPROVEMENT of Bungie.net" would lead most to believe someone has another "great" idea. His reply is that he doesn't even open such threads, and yet he did. The irony is that he was attracted to this thread and went ahead and opened it to see a question to which he replied with what more than likely was a lie.

But given this thread's author and the ridiculousness of the title, it probably wasn't just another onr of those threads.

And if the first reply was not someone who recognizes the author's name and ridiculous actions, would that be different? And what if the author was someone not as known, could the first reply by the same exact person still be seen as ironic?

I don't think it could be. Context clues are everything, especially in this situation. Either way, this is off topic.

OT: Most new ideas at this point are people presenting something other people have already thought of, not realizing they've thought of it or that that topic has been discussed ad nauseum.
