Let them work on the real game with 100% attention. It will speed up the development time.

Demo takes away from the hype and they shouldn't do that for the last installment of the series. Much more fun just to stay up all night and crowd Gamestop and go home and play the next 24 hours without knowing before hand what it would be like.

Of course, everyone would play a demo if possible, but it's not gonna happen, and I hope they don't bother with one.

If they released one, I would not play it. I want to play Halo 3 in its finshed form. I think for Halo it would take something about it by playing a demo.

I've been around these parts for almost eight years now...wow! Maybe I should be concerned about that...

"The Man" says: Your voice means nothing! I rule the world! I laugh at your puny insgnificance! I laugh! Bwahaha! Bungie doesn't give a -blam!- about you guys!

Little Bohemians: You're wrong! You're totally -blam!- wrong!

I think demo's are supposed to be there to help sell the item.

...

I don't think Halo 3 really needs the help of a demo.

It wouldn't cost them any time for the demo.
All they would have to do is take a piece (even an unfinished piece) of beta or alpha portions of the game, and release it to the public. My idea was to release 2 multipayer maps with default settings, only 2 weapons, complete with head-to-head. Not too much, yet not too small.

The only problem this would pose is, what if these things don'r make it into the final concepts of Halo 3? in that case, Bungie could release to us a demo of 100% approved content that will make it into the game.

So I'd say yes, I'd like to play a demo.

I would rather them spend time making the game than some demo which would just reveal all the new features in Halo 3. I would rather be suprised.

Demos aren't supposed to reveal "all" of these features at all.

EDIT--W00T, the "yes" votes are almost tied up with the "no" votes!

I like the idea SWORDZDADDY came up with about releasing a demo after the main release of Halo 3. I wouldn't want a pre-release demo to "ruin" any pre-disposition and hype leading up to the real game; but, however, I would like a demo just for memorabilia purposes because I'm like that.

Demo would be cool, but I want them to make it perfect.

Look at it this way; if you are afraid of playing a pre-release demo because it may ruin the experience for you or something, then don't get it.

I think it would be cool to have a pre-release demo because it gives us a small taste of what the game will be like. It reveals just enough features that allow us to play a basic part of the game, yet there are no spoilers except for a map or two. It's the perfect thing for getting people hyped up for Halo 3. It's kind of like a warm-up.

NOOOOOOOOOOOO

It ruins the game for us once we know how th egameplay is the graphics everything.
I would rather wait till 2010 for halo 3 to come out then play its demo.
