I know this has been a topic of discussion before, but I followed what has been done in the other thread and I have contacted the bungie employee that posted in the thread (and never heard back, unsurprisingly). Anyway, I'm on Chrome. I've deleted all my extensions. Yet, it keeps on happening. I wouldn't mind if it was once in awhile, but it's gotten to the point where it's just a hassle to access b.net whatsoever. It happens numerous times when visiting the site, going to my groups, etc.

Can anybody help?

Funny, even got it when I was trying to submit this..

Funny, I've never experienced problems with b.net before and still not experiencing anything just yet, you should contact DeeJ maybe?

Yeah, maybe. I have to do something. I would let it slide, but it's happening almost every other time I click and try to load something on here. And when I don't get the error, it usually loads painfully slow. It's making it increasingly difficult to maneuver on b.net.

You could use Firefox in the meantime.

Yeah, I suppose. I'd still like to get this sorted out. Maybe it can't be fixed now, though. Oh well. I guess Firefox it is, for the meantime.

Anything but IE.

Oh yeah, since somebody does not believe what YOU believe; that makes us vapid...
I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

Try contacting someone from the Webteam is what I suggest.

It is the soldier, not the reporter, who has given us freedom of the press. It is the soldier, not the poet, who has given us freedom of speech. It is the soldier, not the campus organizer, who has given us the freedom to demonstrate. It is the soldier, not the lawyer, who has given us the right to a fair trial. And it is the soldier who salutes the flag, who serves the flag, whose coffin is draped in the flag that allows the protester to burn the flag.Father Dennis Edward O'Brien, USMC

Happens to me all the time. A small part of of me gets excited thinking its a site update. Guess which part ;)

Key

Message hdubya with your version of chrome and a picture of the incident and he will get back to you.

Also, it can't hurt to PM Duardo. He's an expert in 304 Modified Errors.

The funny thing is, I received the 304 error once again while trying to enter this thread.

I've been getting this all the time in the last week and a half. I'm also on Chrome and I have a couple of extensions but I've had them for a long time. The 304 errors just started popping up recently.

If Bungie.net is making distinctions about the kind of browser you're using, try installing a user agent switcher and setting it to Firefox (or something that isn't Google Chrome).

I tried disabling my extensions right now, hopefully that'll fix it.

Same here. The site is broken, too many people are experiencing the same issue.

Some things in this World you just can't explain; but that doesn't mean they are any less true, just that you have to chose to believe in them.
