Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

Bungie.net is a great website and all, but it is lacking in one fantastic, revolutionary feature that has saved the lives of many.

Forwarding PM's.

Remember when you used to get a chain letter before the internet? Of course not, because you couldn't hit a button and send that awesome stuff to your friends! Chain letters can either destroy your life or make your life awesome. We've all seen them, they range from saving a child in Sasquatchastan to having a ghost child murder you.

Statistic in the middle: 14 people die every day from not forwarding chain letters. Woah! That's like 247 a week!

Yeah, sure you can use this for other things, but think of the lives we'll be saving. You can't let the other b.net members die a grisly ghost child death. Fortunately, I haven't received any chain letters in my PM box, but if I had, I wouldn't be here to type up this warning and suggestion.

Don't laugh, this could be you.

Postscript guys: I'd also like to be able to pull up the group member lists and click a send all button or send based on security role with the full list that you can individually add people.

Post Postscript: Forum Mods, I'm going to level with you. You guys need this the most. What happens if you get a chain letter and no easy way to forward that stuff to some friends? We'd be in troll heaven don't ya see!

Yes actually. Protip: The 'letter' part used to refer to an actual letter once upon a time. The type you needed a stamp for and everything! Served as quite the effective barrier to people just mailing out terrible pointless bits of crap to everyone with the mistaken idea their stupid joke thoughts would be found clever by anyone else.

saving a child in Sasquatchastan

I read that as Saskatchewan at first, and being an Albertan myself, I wondered why we would want to save them at all.

But back on topic, saving lives is great so perhaps there is still time to get this implemented, like STAT.

Кланяються мені!

Wait are you suggesting we have the forward feature on PMs so I can be spammed with chain messages?

Hmm on one hand I never EVER get PM'd (forever alone face).

On the other hand I could be annoyed at the fact that I have to sort through spam all the time.

And on the secret third hand it would be likely that I still wouldn't receive messages, even as part of chain messaging...

It would induce too much spam in my opinion. I guess there's positives and negatives to it. For me personally, its use would be fairly limited.

Rain, and Jazz.
Halo: Tactical

I'm either a fool or an inteligent man, depending on how sleepy or angry I am.

I originaly made an account on 07.27.2007 but I wanted to link my GT and made this account. Don't forget your passwords!

I would like this feature, but I want a mark to prove beyond a doubt that means that it is not a modified quote.

The last thing we need is a way to slander people. Forwarded messaged should require a mark that proves they are forwarded and that you have not modified the quote in any way. Personaly I just see this as a way to discuss, through PMs, other PMs.

Et Eärello Endorenna utúlien.
Sinome maruvan ar Hildinyar.
tenn' Ambar-metta!

OP, I don't think it's really important, or necessary, it's not an e-mail account it's just a quick way to contact someone, within the website.

I find this feature completly unnecessary at all.

Yeah, this is a great point. Some sort of feature like this would be necessary when forwarding.

Quoting in forums, for example, it is sometimes nice to remove the irrelevant text so that only the portion you wish to quote is displayed, such as I have done here - but when forwarding PMs, to avoid fraud and slander, I agree that an unmodifiable quote should be forced.

There's no way Nate Hawbaker's favorite hero is Alan Stuart

ALAN IS A BEAUTIFUL MAN!

We would need a "Friend" system for that so...

I do believe we'll see something like this on Bungie.next...

Waiting for the light. :)

Per Audacia Ad Astra

For evidential purposes this would be helpful so long as the sender cannot alter the original message.
