No, it's silver.
There's two kind of structures on High Charity-the Prophets' Sanctum chamber tower which is purple and rounded, AND THE WELL LIT CITY IT OVERLOOKS IN THE BACKGROUND. We've been over this three times, yet you still do not catch on... Get it now? Or are you colorblind? Not the place where the game starts you out on, not where the beginning trial cutscene took place, I meant the backdrop city below the Sanctum chamber tower.
And Bungie's announcement:
"Graphically, the game follows closely in the tradition of Halo 2, although obviously upgraded to take advantage of the Xbox 360's more prodigious visual abilities. As art director Marcus Lehto explains, "It was intended to be an understated announce of Halo 3 - the tone is that of mystery and suspense – the calm before the storm. I wanted to make sure that we re-introduced the Chief, show that Earth is thoroughly conquered, with Covenant everywhere, and that there is a glorious, ancient artifact buried under the Earth’s crust which will provide H3 with the epic journey which we all want."
Now since you're all so hardheaded, why should you even bother to read on?
Epic journey, huh? Could be the Great Journey the Prophets were looking for. The rest is yours to think, I'm not forcing my opinion on anybody, but I'm thinking the Forerunners' means of transcendence.
