There are no irrelevant quotes of historical figures here. Neither will you find any links, chain posts, memes, clan advertisements, self-promotions, or the tiniest of ASCII pictures.

So go away.

I heard someone on Live talking about a bunch of H3 info in the latest issue of the Official Xbox Magazine. Upon further inspection, I found the following on the website's list of features in the issue:
Access

* Playstation 3 ass-kicked!
* Halo 3: The first shots!
* The new breed of HDTV!
* Half-Life 3 for download?
* New Star Wars game revealed!

Now by the looks of it this is most likely just a re-cap of the E3 announcement trailer, but in the event that there is new information, I must know! Does anybody have that magazine and if so, what the -blam!- does it say about Halo 3?!

Oh and by the way, that quote is from here.

Let's go Rangers!

It is basically what you have seen and known concerning the announcement trailer. They speculate as to what certain things inside the video mean.

Upon delving further into the sixteen-page special, I discovered that the OXM staff releases their own pre-conceived notions of what should and should not be in Halo 3. Among the things they would not like to see in Halo 3 is the Flood and another Halo, which is completely understandable. The game should be about survival on a Covenant-controlled Earth more than anything at this point.

Awww. Old info, and speculation? Lame.

Thanks anyway.

I get OXM and they basically just break down the E3 trailer and provide some feedback on what's going on and what may be expected in the game. They occasionally add their own theory to some of the events. It was a good analysis and well worth the read. I'd recommend either buying a copy or at least stopping by the local book store and flipping through it.

I disagree if no flood then that would be to much of a change!

Let's go Rangers!

Their speculating about Halo 3 nuances was an entertaining read, as it more or less conformed to exactly what I believe the game should be like.

They also include such popular beliefs as bringing back another Blood Gulch, as well as the much-anticipated return of "the pistol."

I would have to say that bringing back Blood Gulch again could not be a better idea. Blood Gulch was spectacular (possibly the single greatest Capture-the-Flag map of all time), whilst Coagulation was everything Blood Gulch could have been. Imagine what they will think of for Blood Gulch's third and final hurrah.

EDIT: Please disregard my over-zealous use of the term "Blood Gulch."

* Pr: ĭnʹtərnĕts: "I hear there's rumors on the uh (pause), Internets...

Their 'Halo 3 Wishlist' in my opinion was full of terrible ideas.

Motorcycle and sidecar? 4 player co-op? Playable Brute?! Dual Swords?!?!?!

Jeez, who the hell hired these guys?

Let's go Rangers!

Like I said: It was entertaining, to say the least. The OXM staff is known to quip occasionally amidst somewhat serious subjects (see: sidecar, dual-swords, etc.), but otherwise their ideas were sound.

"heh"

OXM would be better if Frankie still wrote for them. Oh, wait...
