"Now, we must all fear evil men. But there is another kind of evil which we must fear most, and that is the indifference of good men."

Get at me

Weird glitch. I tested other websites but not other browsers. Not a big deal obviously, just bringing it to attention.

In a time long past, the armies of the dark came again to the lands of men. Their leaders became known as the fallen lords, and their terrible sorcery was without equal in the west.
In 30 years they reduced the civilized nations into carrion and ash. Until the free city of Madrigal alone defined them. An army gathered there, and a desperate battle was joined against the fallen
Heros were born in the fire and bloodshed of the wars which followed and their names and deeds will never be forgotten

Windows 8 is very new and I am sure the webteam has not formatted Bungie.net to run on that OS. It is interesting how it is acting up, especially since the browser should function the same.

But I am sticking with Windows 7.

Now I'm not a a specialist on code or anything but it seems more likely that the error is faulted by the browser. The browser could be a little buggy from the new OS. I have never heard of web pages being glitched by an OS directly.

I'm sure we turned this into a wp thread in the mains lol. Is there a new wp account I should add?

OT, I agree that it's weird. I don't understand why it only happens to bnet. It should be every page in that browser. IDK but its not really a big deal.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

Odd glitch. BNet shows up beautifully on IE 10 for me. Maybe it's a Google Chrome problem, not a Windows 8 problem. I don't have Chrome installed on my computers so I can't verify.

Did you try a ctrl-F5?

If that doesn't work, you can always use another browser. I've had no issues on BNet using Firefox on Win8 either.

Well, here we are. I guess that it was destined to come to this.

I would speculate that it is a video-driver issue where the rendering is wonky.

Hey I am a big Bungie fan ever since I played Halo 2. I love the series, I love Bungie. I have made a few Bungie logos in my metal shop.

I still like Windows 7 better.

Normally I attribute this to cookies and the cache. But it's weird for it to happen to both windows of your browser.

Using my powers of deduction, it must be magic.

Windows 8 is using the same kernal as Windows 7, which is using the same kernal from Windows Vista....so I personally don't think that this is an OS issue...but I MAY be wrong. We'll see.

Fight your way out; only scrubs and mashers jump out of the corner

Actually IE 10 on W8 is pretty good. That aside, BNet looks awesome for me on W8 using Chrome in both Desktop and Modern mode; the scrollbars ( which is what appears to be freaking out on your system ) look fine.

WindowsWell there's your problem. Switch to Linux. [/hipster]

As others have said, I would imagine it's a browser-specific problem. Maybe try Firefox. As always, clear your cache and restart your computer.

I see a problem in that image, Foman's inbox is 0. Needs more PM!

Anywhoo, it's not the web browser that causing the problem. Like someone said, it's probably the web browser you're using on windows 8 that causes that strange bug to happen.

To think of this retrospectively, if you open up the website in another internet browser and has the same bug you experience in the previous internet browser, then it's the website.

My Screenshots / My Group / Remember to follow the rules or you will get trapped in a box.

I am going have to agree with ecart. It is most likely your browser on that OS. Try seeing if the problem is on IE or Firefox. If it isn't then contact google about the problem. OS usually don't effect website directly.
