Kinda makes the game fair to have balanced weapons...

-It's not perfect
-Balance can mean many things
-However that does not include identical human and alien weapons
-It is normally used to say no one weapon is dominant in every situation

Halo 3: Collapse
Chapter 20, Revelations, is up (update 11-14-10)
The Mirratord

Ω

I for one hate games where there's the one super weapon, the one super vehicle. Balance is good.

If you look at the weapons/vehicles/technology of the US compared to the weapons/vehicles/technology of the people in the middle east it is not that balanced so why balance weapons in an almost perfect game and if both sides are balanced you can the same weapon but different armament and model

If that was true the Covenant Weapons would be so much more deadly than the human weapons. As oppose to a small incision from a bullet which you can live from, you get a pink needle that peirces your skin and explodes...or seering hott plasma that would melt your flesh away in a matter of seconds.
