Don’t get mad if I flame you because you cannot spell, or because my three year old has better grammar and etiquette than you.
I am getting rather cynical here myself. I see too many of the same thread, its hard to read something seriously when its obvious they dont even take the time to read before posting, the forum is a place to discuss things, most people are competing for a #1 topic or something equally fruitless like saying 1st or something.
I go into each thread serious, but its obvious 95% of the time they do not read anyone elses threads before posting.
I cannot tell you how many threads I have seen saying that Halo 3 should come out on the xbox, my common reaction is that it should come out on the dreamcast too.
Other topics pulverized into oblivion would be:
Bots
Map editors
Who do you want to play as
Weapon ideas
Superjumping, bxr and other glitches.
I never noticed this.... Something about the trailer that has been said 1000000x before.
The biggest problem is that people are flooding the forums with useless crap rather than responding to the good threads.
I myself should not be posting in the stupid threads flaming the (fill in the blank of your choice word of description) because that only allows them to grow and continue thier stupid threads.
Last week before my wife and I went into the hospital to deliver our third, there was this one guy who made about 10 threads in the span of two hours, every single thread he made was already on the first 3 pages.
I know you cannot read everything there are too many pages, but at least look at the first 5 pages before posting. There is always something there.
From my experience its all complaints from somone only regitered for about a month making a stupid new thread. I wish there was a filter on the forums.
As a community we need to stop feeding these retarded threads and alerting the mods about them. Flaming them only holds them to the front page, giving the tard the idea hey its popular I should do that again, instead of us getting him banned.
Yeah I know I am guilty of feeding the fire myself, I will stop that though, we just need more people to do the same. Reporting these threads should be easier. Newbies to the forums shouldnt be allowed to post for a month either. Learn the ropes first, or make it so that thier thread must be approved before going active. Something would be nice.
