I'm trying to become an '04, but it's not working too well."

Do you go out of your way to visit this website, or is it just second nature?

Do you visit daily, weekly, monthly? What is your Bungie.net schedule?

Is there a private group, main forum, or assortment of users that keep you coming back in these times of darkness?

I understand how this can relate to 'Why do you come here', but i'm looking for more specific answers to your addiction [or lack thereof]

Are you trying to achieve a certain status amongst us? Trying to keep a PPD goal? Attempting to gain a certain pre-fix to your member title, or a whole new level all together? Do tell.

@Vinyl_Hb

Its second nature

Daily, I check up around every 2 hours

Bungie.net community, the flood, and a couple private groups

Eventually I will be your king.

  • 10.30.2012 11:34 PM PDT

It's hard to explain, but I would say somewhere in between. On one hand, I love the community and site on B.net so I come here as a second nature, but on the other hand I also remind myself to check the site periodically for updates in groups and some of the public forums.

I get a lot of news from this site. Mostly game news, but still news.

Don't judge a book by its cover, unless it has bacon on the cover, then it is a good book.

-Me

It is just second nature for me to come to this site

I visit daily, this place is like my second home

The Flood and all its glory keeps me coming back, but this forum isn't to shabby either

I keep coming back for the great community here, the internet friendship or lack thereof. Also who doesn't want to talk to a bunch of people who love Halo?

Case and point: don't worry about it. Girls start getting boobies pretty soon, and then you'll have plenty of other things to think about. Being an Inheritor is not a life goal.

I open a new tab and it's just staring at me in my most visited sites box. I try to resist the temptation to not click. I tell myself that I was only going to spend a few minute online to look something up, but then I think of all the bad jokes I'm missing and y'all pull me in.

The Flood Revolution is coming...

I get one for a string of maybe 4 days every couple of weeks. I honestly come on just to see what's being talking about and what's coming up for Bungie.

Anyone but Foman. He smells like cheese.

It's my experience that people who visit this site in order to reach certain "goals" in terms of PPD or member titles rarely last very long here. People who come for the community interaction and entertainment stay for years.

To be honest I don't really know what keeps me coming back, I guess its a habit. I've been doing it for too long.

Attempting to gain a certain pre-fix to your member title Do tell.

I'm trying to get that Exalted Mythic status. It's the best title after all.

Do tell.

Now, in the quantum moment before the closure, when all become one. One moment left. One point of space and time.

I know who you are.

You are Destiny.

I have a daily routine of Internet typically consisting of whatever other websites I visit. Quick rounds to private groups to see if there's anything interesting; usually not. Septagon? Same threads I've been seeing for years, just with different usernames.

I'm hoping I break this sedentary lifestyle once Bungie.next at least launches.

Coming here is pretty much second nature to me and I come daily. I come back for the mains but mostly because of a private group called, "Chapter". I really like how our community is so that helps as well.

There comes a time in every mans life... and that time is not now.

It's second nature. I never go out of my way to visit this site, but i wonder what's happening on here when i don't.

I visit daily at the moment, but throughout the year that fluctuates between daily and monthly visits.

There are many private groups/ users that keep me coming back, although a lot of them have been less and less active these days. The community forum and the flood are good for a bit of entertainment every now and then as well.

I'd like to become a mythic member at some point, but i'm not going to sit here and post meaningless things in every thread i can just to boost my PPD in case that has some sort of effect. I'd rather bide my time and be less hated on the forum.

I just keep a Bnet tab open on my iPhone.

I browse at least an hour and a half a day, usually as it takes me this long travelling to work on the bus.

I'll stay here for as long as I find interesting threads to post in.

I'm just here to outlast Burrito. So far it's been like a staring contest with a donkey holding a mirror in front of its face.

  • 10.31.2012 1:45 AM PDT

I just drop in and check the Flood and community whenever I'm on the computer.

  • 10.31.2012 1:54 AM PDT

@spaboolly

The community forum is my most visited webpage, so no. It is not out of the way at all.

I am always here... always....

I check into groups every day or two, but I would say it's really the humour on the forums and my tight group of friends who keep me around as much as I am. (See, Murdur? I'm keeping my promise)

I like the status I am now. I will be quite upset when my lovely nondescript black title bar changes to something more noticeable. I don't usually post more than once or twice a day. I prefer to lurk.

Do you go out of your way to visit this website, or is it just second nature?

No, I'm not missing work to visit here.

Do you visit daily, weekly, monthly? What is your Bungie.net schedule?
I pop in daily for the most part, anxiously awaiting new info on anything.

Is there a private group, main forum, or assortment of users that keep you coming back in these times of darkness?
I'm trying to do more than lurk the main forums. I realized I'll only get out what I put in here, and I do like this community.

Are you trying to achieve a certain status amongst us? Trying to keep a PPD goal? Attempting to gain a certain pre-fix to your member title, or a whole new level all together? Do tell.
None of the above, but I wish my co workers would refer to me as Exalted Heroic Adam instead of just Adam....

Who am I?

mah twitter

1) Do you go out of your way to visit this website, or is it just second nature?

This is usually the first place I visit when I open the internets. This, Facebook and Twitter.

2) Do you visit daily, weekly, monthly? What is your Bungie.net schedule?

Daily, usually several times a day. Once in the morning, couple of times at work and then depending on my schedule for the rest of the day, I might end up spending hours here per day.

3) Is there a private group, main forum, or assortment of users that keep you coming back in these times of darkness?

It's just the community. I'd rather not mention any groups because that has caused lots of hate in the past.

4) I understand how this can relate to 'Why do you come here', but i'm looking for more specific answers to your addiction [or lack thereof]

There are just cool people here. And I have to keep posting in the "Request a ban for a Mythic member" thread. Why? I don't know..

5) Are you trying to achieve a certain status amongst us? Trying to keep a PPD goal? Attempting to gain a certain pre-fix to your member title, or a whole new level all together? Do tell.

I have reached the highest title I possible can, because getting the sweet Elder prefix doesn't seem possible anymore.

I guess I just have to keep posting unti people stop asking me "who are you?"
