Subject: Does spending credits take longer to Rank up?

Acccording to the Ranks listed here:
http://halo.wikia.com/wiki/Rank_(Halo:_Reach)

You need XXX amount of credit for each rank. Say you have 210,000, according to the chart, you get Captain. If you spend the 210,000 on armor, will you need to make another 233,000 to get to Captain Grade 1?

The Flood Revolution is coming...

The fact of the matter is, systematically speaking by a diabolical point of view your fundamental faculties are not sufficiently sophisticated to bombasticate your philosophies.

Nope.

What the hell are you talking about emblem stealer?

  • 10.31.2012 11:14 PM PDT

So how do you know how many more credits you need to level up?

  • 11.01.2012 11:40 AM PDT

Just play the game and forget about the ranks. They mean nothing and have zero affect on gameplay. There is no reason why you should care about them.

  • 11.01.2012 11:47 AM PDT

Yes, it does.

  • 11.01.2012 12:07 PM PDT

Country: United States.
State: Pennsylvania.
County: Warren.
I graduated from high school on June-11-2011. I'm 19 right now. I'm turning 20 in December. I like playing video games, and board games. I like reading Sci-Fi, and World War II novels, and what not.

"There is nothing better in the world than being better at a video game than someone else....oh wait"

Yes it does OP. It's like you're saving up to buy a car. The money you saved up is the same money you use to be food and what not. Evey time you use it it takes longer for you to buy that car.

No, it doesn't. Buying armor doesn't reduce your rank, or slow your progressions. LOL.

I cannot grasp that what you call "Something happened to nothing, and that nothing became something, and it was smaller than than a period."

No. Rank is based on all the cR you have ever received, not the amount you currently have.

The answer I was looking for. I figured this. Now, is there a way to see the total cR you have received, including the cR you spent?
